I haven't had any probably out of the Vgate one I bought doing anything I needed it to do. Not sure what the difference is in all of them, I just got the one the developer said for me to get. He said it was the best option and the one he uses on his jeep. I figure if it's good enough for him then it's good enough for me.

The guys who does most of the videos has a JK. This is the one they recommended for JL/JT.

He also said the one he sent me a link to would be the best option for my JT as well. He told me that's the one they use on JLs as well. Their website may say different, I'm just going by my personal conversation with him on messenger

I know that my vGate worked great. It really has more options for adjustments than I feel qualified to even mess with.

I agree. It would be nice if there was an explanation of what they all do.

They all pretty much do the same thing. One is just a little faster than the other. The MX+ is probably a hair faster at loading up than another one but they all function the same

I read somewhere (maybe JLForum) that the MX+ could restart more of the ECUs, which allows certain changes (axle and/or t-case ratios) to occur immediately.

The Vgate one can do that also. I'm not sure if the the MX+ can do more than the Vgate because there isn't much info on the Vgate online but based on reading online about what the MX+ can do it basically does the same thing as the Vgate just a little faster. It says like 300% faster. Vgate icar Bluetooth obd2 can do axle and T case ratios but there may be other things the Mx+ does that the Vgate can't. For most of what we need on our JT the Vgate will be fine

That's definitely not true because the JScan can with the Vgate can absolutely activate rear view camera and blind spot modules. Not sure where they are getting there info from.

I don’t know. Great that they both work. Now, if they would just add locker and sway bar drop out to JScan...

Has anyone contacted the developer to ask if we can get more features? I have a friend asking if this can activate the “cargo camera” option, but I don’t see it anywhere. Also, having lockers and sway bar control at all times would be beneficial. I don’t have Facebook, so I can’t message him...

I'll try to contact him later on, he seems to respond in the evenings quicker I'm guessing because of the time difference. I have a few things I'd like added as well.
