If it's an FCA warranty, no, you just have to document that you did the services. And under federal law, there are strict limitations on "you have to have us do it."

My dealer's only tie-in deal is that if you have all services done there on schedule, you get your first set of tires free. Which is pretty decent since the first two years of services are covered by the Wave program (assuming normal mileage).
So, everyone who's bought a JT gets 2 years free oil changes? Or do you have to pay for Jeep Wave or a service plan?

My dealer never said any of that... Granted my salesman was a complete tard, and never told me about ANYTHING other than negotiating price... So I have no idea what all I have covered or possibly free, other than my extra protection I paid for...

As far as I know, it is everyone who buys a new JT.

You don't have to pay anything for it. You get 2 free years in the Jeep Wave program, which gives you the 4 free oil changes. You're automatically enrolled in it (but you must create an online account at the mopar owner site after you buy your Jeep). It did take about 2 weeks or so for the free 2 years in Jeep wave to show up in my mopar owner account.

Also, my dealer didn't say anything about it either... except they sold us a 4 year "maintenance plan" which literally only covered oil changes (we were under the impression it covered ALL factory recommended maintenance). So once we found out about the Jeep wave program, we cancelled the maintenance plan right away.

Yup, everyone who buys a Wrangler or a Gladiator gets it. Wave has a bunch of dubious features, but the top useful ones are two years of oil changes and tire rotation (the only things most people will need to do for the first 2-3 years). Most people report that they get their Wave stuff in the mail around two months after taking delivery. So basically you're getting a little VIP treatment and totally no-cost dealer service for a couple years. I added the 8 year, 85k mile max care for only $1330, so for that long I get dealer VIP treatment outside of normal maintenance items (rental car, priority service, etc).

My sales guy was pretty awesome, and covered everything in detail.

My local dealer where I bought my truck just told me that adding a small spacer lift (for leveling on my Max Tow) will void my suspension warranty. Is this true? Does anyone have Jeep's official answer on this topic? Of course they said having them install the Mopar lift would be fine.
The only way a mod will void a warranty is if they can prove the mod caused the failure. So if you do some suspension work and the suspension or driveshafts have issues, they could say the lift altered the angles. However... it's in the dealers best interest to get the work through and done. And if you keep your stock stuff you can always swap it back on for show and tell to Jeep if there is a major repair and they want it documented.

Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act.

But if you do a lift and say the window regulators go bad, or your alternator fries... totally unrelated and still under warranty.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I was able to get Jeep customer care to basically say the same thing on a chat the other day
