Installed the Fab Fours Overland Rack.

I like the look, but I was pretty miffed about the fact that it comes with round button-head bolts while the install instructions say and show flat button-head bolts. Would have much preferred flat heads.

Also not at all pleased that, either a) one of the mounting holes was misdrilled, or else b) either the passenger side upright was bent or the tube side rail that mounts on top of it was. I could only get two of the three holes to line up, so I left the middle bolt out...for now. Expect better QC than that for the cost of the rack.

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Fab Fours and they were great. Asked me to send some pics and said they’d take care of it.

Reinstalled my Built Right Molle panel afterwards. Went on just as easily the second time...

I’ve been running that color scheme since 2012 on multiple different vehicles. It’s hard to go wrong.

I much prefer the blackout look. I hate chrome...Always have, always will.

Thanks! It drives great. My wife drives our JLUR mostly (on 37s as well) and even she made the comment the other day that it rides better than the JL. I had it on 315s since the day I bought it and there is almost no difference in power between the 315s and the 37s and it still goes into 7th and 8th gear on the highway, 3.73 gears and all

My JK was silver/black and my wife’s Durango is GCM/Gunmetal/black. We love it in our family haha

This morning i took my One piece Tom Woods rear driveshaft off because i have had vibration, now that i regeared it was at 40mph to 50. I know i have the pinion dialed in. Took it to Houston drive train dropped it off. By 11:00am it was done. Went home and installed it and it all perfect now. $95 bucks. I know Tom Woods would have fixed me up in a couple or three days but i didn’t want to be without my Jeep.

3/4" spacers in the rear and finally re installed my spare after almost a year without. Note, a 6pt 14mm socket will drive the spare tire hoist.
