I picked up and installed the ACE bed extender. No longer will I leave the 2x4s in the back to section the bed. It’s not curved so it also maximizes space. Also planning to mount equipment via the molle rack. The finish is very nice and looks good. Its very secure when extended, meaning the tailgate does not bounce around. Finally, easy to remove when needed and fits under my tonneau cover. Came together perfectly! Very happy!

Looks really nice and sturdy. How much was that if you don’t mind my asking?

$375

It’s solid and even has locking pins for each position. I plan on mounting gear on each side when not extended.

I just called them, they are launching the product today and updating the site. I will post it soon.

I was at the shop back in May to purchase their exhaust, which is awesome. While there they had the extender prototype out and working on it. Once I saw it, I ordered one on the spot lol. They just finished their production run last week for the extender and I was able to pick up yesterday. It’s launching today

Here is my review of the exhaust.

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/ace-performance-exhaust.31092/

I will check the website periodically to see when updated For the extender.

Thanks for sharing the info on this. Can't tell from the photos - can you pivot it from in the bed to on the tailgate by just pulling the pins and loosening (but not removing) the handwheels? I'm assuming that you probably can, but don't like to rely on assumptions..... Thanks

Yes you can. The pins fit in both positions. The hand wheels have a washer on each side where mounted so one tight, you don’t really have to losen it to flip positions.

I ordered one of these with the $75 intro discount. Wish the price were a little lower (even with the discount) but it seems well designed and well made and versatile, so I've put it into the "buy once cry once" category of getting a quality item, for a truck that I plan to keep for a very long time.

Very sturdy. I mounted recovery boards on the extender with ratcheting straps and secured my recovery gear to it so it won’t move around. No sag or give on the extender. I continue to be happy with this. Post what you do with it :).
