Do you have a weight distribution hitch for the trailer?

I have a 10" drop adjustable Weight Safe hitch. If the scale on the hitch is accurate with the boat I am running about 750 lbs. on the hitch. With the UTV, depending how I load.....never over 1k lbs. The boat however makes the truck drop more than the UTV, its kind of odd.

isnt the rubi only rated for 600lbs hitch weight? may be why your sagging so much

I have no specs on that. Total haul is 4500 lbs. and I have the towing package with the class IV hitch and heavy duty cooling. It tows fine, so I am not worried about it. The airbags will remedy the issue.

Ok to be clearer. This is what I added. The goal was to recenter the axle. And lift the front a little more due to the winch and bumper installing tonight.

Jeep already has a MOPAR lift with 3/4” spacers front and rear.

Added -
Synergy front track bar.
Skyjacker rear track bar. (Sort of cheaped out a little here because it’s such simple part)
Teraflex 1.5” spacer kit. (Replacing the 3/4” front spacer)
Skyjacker longer sway bar links. (After the TF spacers it was no longer positioned right)

Comparison pic of the 3/4 vs 1.5 spacers too (they’re incorrectly stacked in the pic). Also one from stock with 37s, first lift and now the new getup. Bottom to top.

Got my turning radius back, was very happy about that. Axles are perfectly centered now.

Nice! I did the Teraflex adjustable front track bar, Evo rear track bar and the Synergy Track bar/Sector shaft brace.

Now the 37s dont look big enough on yours !!

Yeah...KO2s are a small 37 anyway...I will be going true 38s soon enough. Prolly add the sector shaft brace as well.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind going up to 38's but I don't think the Ridge Grappler comes in a 38" for an 18" wheel. I won't change tires, I have been running these for 5 years now across 2 Jeeps and love them.

Good to hear. I'll have to get that brace. The main reason I haven't bumped to 37s is I don't know what tires are as good, or close, to the KO2s in quietness, longevity, offroad-ability and streetability. The KO2s have mastered it.

Yeah, I'd have to say the same for the Ridge Grapplers. I have been running 35" or larger Nittos for over 10 years. The Ridge Grapplers are silent, wear flawlessly (when rotated properly) and is honestly one of the best quality rubbers I have ever run on a tire. The KO2s have a ton of great press and followers too.....I can't say I have ever heard anything bad about them. They have a nice look to them as well.

Technically..............
700 pounds tongue weight, 7,000 trailer for Rubicon with automatic.
600 for the Overland.
Tongue weight is part of the payload so if the max payload is 1200 then you have taken 700 away from 1200 and have 500 pounds left for OCCUPANTS and cargo..........

Nice find! Yeah, I am fine. I have been toying with where I load the UTV on the trailer and can keep it under 700 lbs. on the tongue. Boat is the same, if I raise the drop hitch the weight goes up but if I lower it I go as low as 500 lbs. on the tongue.

It looked like you had it figured. That's interesting on the hitch, though - seems different than I'd have "guessed" the connection would be. I'd think raising up the front would transfer a small bit of weight back (not much, just thinking aloud so to speak) and lowering the front would allow weight above center to be felt more forward.

I just wish more Jeep people lived in this area - it's pretty boring.
Can't even get people together for our cars here. Iowans are different that way. Try to get clubs going, everyone is all in until it comes time to make the talk action, then nothing.
And no one around here really knows these things - you see a TON of Wranglers and other Jeeps (no JTs though) and you see some with mods, but no one really knows what they are doing, dealers don't know squat, barely even how to fix stock Jeeps. Only ONE dealer in all of our area does any mods at all and the 4x4 shops are all about monster trucks ( all 2 of them)

Yeah, I thought the same (on weight dist). Maybe I am wrong and I positioned it down rather than up. The boat trailer has a built in level that shows I am ever so slightly back weighted so thats probably right. Could be an inaccurate tongue scale too but it's been the same since I moved it.

I know what you mean. We have a few local clubs and a couple of small shops within 75-100 miles who know a thing or two but no big 4x4 places that really know a Jeep inside and out. There are plenty of gatherings and semi regular car shows and stuff....nothing big. Iola is the best show we see out this way.

Today, I changed my own oil. That’s way easier than I expected. Easy way to save some money if you find a deal on the filter and oil. I also installed the Fumoto quick drain valve while I was at it for the next time I change it.
