How much will that lift set you back?

Ill PM you with part numbers. Its seperate for each the front and rear set. I gotta pull up my Jegs account and see what the part #s were.
do you mind posting those part numbers?
I would also consider switching at some point instead of just replacing OEM...
Thanks

Today, I did the second mod for my Gladiator (only have 174 miles on it- first mod was fire extinguisher mount).

I added Rubbermaid storage containers in the rear in front of the built in storage box. I then made a quick "package platform" so that its more of a flat floor for when I want to throw crap in the back.

Its a simple piece of plywood I had that I covered with leftover automotive carpet. Unfortunately, its not as big of mod as the rest of you guys with your lifts etc :)

I really like this simple mod. What size containers did you use and what is the measurement of the plywood? If you remember. Tks for sharing.

How are the latched on those. I have had to adjust the heck out of my cheap ones. They still rattle from time to time, and are hard for the kids to shut.

New EAG winch bumper. The factory bumpers are an eye sore IMO.

I used 2 Rubbermaid Roughneck 3 gallon black storage totes that I ordered from here:

https://www.doitbest.com/shop/stora...roughneck-3-gal-black-storage-tote?SKU=608254

You can go larger, but I wanted them small enough that I can easily move them if I was going to have rear seat passengers. Plus, they are just to hold tie-downs and an air compressor, etc. My main objective was creating a "flat floor", not so much the extra storage (although there is also space next to the totes on the floor that you could put stuff).

The plywood I cut down to 2' x4' and then made a small cutout on the front edge so I can still use the rear cupholders as I often throw a spray can or spray sanitizer in them. So, I didn't want to block the holders.

I did later add two small lengths of a 2"x3" (maybe 12" long each) that I screwed to the underside of the platform where it sits at the Rubbermaid totes (so the boards rest on the tote lids). I realized that the rear OEM storage box lid goes up at an angle, so the platform would rock some. So I attached the pieces of 2"x3" to stop the rock. I originally just put two rolled up towels on top of the totes that did the same thing -if you don't want to bother with the 2"x3" boards. Its easy to see what I mean about the rocking the first time you trial fit the plywood.

RiP ..hit and run...quarter panel is beyond warrped.
That sucks. I thought I was having a bad day when I went out this morning to find my new 197 mile Gladiator with a flat tire.

I hope you can get yours fixed back up in short order.

I'm the idiot for having a $1,000 deductable too. I havnt been in a fault accident in 20 years so I figured I'd be good. I never thought about getting hit by an illegal with no insurance. Idk know if the quarter panel can be fixed. It's hard to tell in the pics but it bubbles out in a warp. The tailgate is out of alignment too. To make things worse I can't even get it inspected with geico until next Fri with my work schedule.

Look above rear flare

It is more noticeable in your second set of photos.

But, don't beat yourself up. Wasn't your fault anyways. And, insurance usually sucks no matter what. Think of the money you saved in the 20 years with a higher deductible. Probably a wash.

So you think this can be fixed ?

Virtually everything can be fixed. It just depends on cost.

It looks like a complete, new OEM bed (box) lists for $5835 but can be bought for $3850. Add a bumper, some hardware, paint and labor. I'm no adjuster but I'd be shocked if that can't be fixed.

Of course, if there is frame damage, things could change.

Any ideas how I can get my tailgate down ? I can't get an inspection until next Friday. I don't wanna force it but I kinda wanted to take off my soft cover before It gets worked on in the near future.

Mine were easy. The hinges come with the bolts loose. Drop in the doors and close them. tighten the hinge bolt from underneath then tighten the 2 hibge bolts on each side and adjust the latch spacer as needed.
