You can install this yourself in an hour or two. Not difficult at all If you take your time. There are videos posted already in this thread. I followed the videos and it was super easy. The hardest part was getting the wire harness pass the firewall on the passenger side. Take your time on the wire harness part not to damage anything.Hello All,
New Gladiator owner as of yesterday! The one I drove off the lot had "almost" every option I wanted except the Aux Switch package. Is it possible for a Jeep dealer to install it after the fact? I am hoping the basic wiring already exists and it's only a matter of putting the switch in and connecting....any ideas?
I did this install 2 weeks ago, so it is still really fresh in my mind. I ordered the part from Bam wholesale. Remember you need to have a tazer or superchips to turn on the feature. Once activated it will send power to the switch and within a few hours or a day the new feature will download and activate on your display screen. If you don’t you can have the dealer turn it on, but it will cost around 100$ to 200$. The investment in your own programmer well worth the money. I used superchips and it has paid off well With all the upgrades I’ve done
hope this helps
