Anybody have a big shift? I went from 9/11 ship to 9/19 today...
That sounds about right. Some vehicles are sitting in the parking lot for about 7 - 14 days before they are taken to the rail yard. Depending on where you're located, it can sit in the rail yard after being unloaded for another 2 - 3 days before it gets transported to your dealer.

Well, I'm still D1, so if it's sitting, it's sitting in multiple places!

Here's the update on my diesel JTR today. Jeep Chat told me this morning "all the materials needed to move forward with the build have been received". They told me to check with my dealer for any additional information. Therefore, I send an email to my dealer in Idaho to see if they have any details. Here was his response from moments ago: "Your Jeep is in production. Once production completes it will be placed in a transport queue. I’m thinking it will leave the factory in the next 7 days." My dealer has been outstanding to deal with and has given me no reason to not trust in information and experience.
It's positive news and progress. Thought I'd share with others that have ordered a diesel and don't have any guesses on when to expect their order. For reference, mine was ordered on 7/25.

Talked to Jeep Chat this morning. My ship date still reads as tomorrow. However, they have not started building it yet, so that will not happen. She said the ship date had not yet been updated in the system. She said she had no information as to when it might be built, but to check back later in the week for an update. I guess we will all have to wait a while longer. I have not seen anybody say theirs has shipped, but maybe I missed something.

Your dealer should be able to tell you which status your Gladiator is in.

Called my dealer this morning and was told they have received everything to build but have not begun building. He also told me that from what he has been told, no JT Diesels have been built yet. Not getting any info from Jeep Chat as to what the hold up is about.

Here are the build status codes. It sounds like you are in D1 status. Ask your dealer if you've been assigned a VIN yet.

Stage 1

BA: New order that hasn't been checked, this is the status when the order is first put in. Only the dealer knows about it

BB: Review by fleet department, the order is now being processed.

BD: Special equipment processing. This is where things like snow plow prep etc get checked. Special items.

BE: Edit error

BG: Passed edit n/a for schedule. This is where the order can sit and wait for things like low volume paint where there needs to be x number or similar orders

BGL: Edit ok parts unavailable

BX: Passed edit available for schedule

Stage 2
C: Sub firm - Tentative schedule Now the factory knows about the order.

Stage 3
D: Firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available
D1: Gateline schedule - scheduled to be built

Stage 4
E: Frame
F: Paint
G: Trim
I: Built not ok'd
J: Built ok'd
JB: Shipped to Upfit Center
JE: Emission check
JS: Shipped to storage

Stage 5
KZ: Released by plant, invoiced
KZL: Released - not shipped
KZM: First rail departure
KZN: First rail arrival
KZO: Delayed/recieved
KZOA: Plant holds
KZOB: Zone/distribution holds
KZOC: Carrier delays
KZOD: Carrier holds
KZOE: Mis-shipped vehicle
KZOF: Show/test vehicle
KZOG: Damaged vehicle
KZOH: All other reasons
KZT: Second rail departure
KZU: Second rail arrival
KZX: Delivered to dealer

Stage Canceled
ZA: Canceled, the dealer or you have canceled the order

Thanks... Yes I am in D1, I have had a VIN since 7/25 and no more movement since that time... I did get the email stating it would be at Dealership 9/17 then a retraction email saying they didn't know when it would be built.

The plant is probably gearing up to build a few thousand of the Gladiator EcoDiesel trucks all at the same time. Right now, Jeep is moving a lot of product. If congress passes another stimulus, I think FCA will see a nice bump in sales. FCA dealers here in the southwest can't keep inventory on the lot.

I hope I'm wrong and it's purely speculation and not really related, but I see the mopar lift for the JT diesel has been delayed until November timeframe, which makes me wonder if the JT diesel production is being delayed for various reasons as well.

How do you know the springs are delayed. It won’t be until November that there will be a size-able amount of MY 21 trucks on the lot for their supply chain to worry about getting accessory parts to dealers. Remember, your order is on the bleeding edge of 21 production. Give it to the end of the week then start speculating.

Still D1, ships 9/19 here. Of the 10 lot orders (not for a specific customer order, and no ecodiesels), three are in D with no ship date and the rest are BX.

i have ordered 3 JLs and 2 JTs. Idk about other people’s experiences, but I have found the ship date to be the actual build date with every one of mine.

I'll have to dig up where I found the info on the JT diesel mopar lift being pushed to November availability.

The release date for the lift kit has nothing to do with JT parts. I’ve been driving my diesel JLR since March and the lift kit for that is just coming out.
