Have any of you guys noticed hood fluttering at high speeds?

I’ve noticed once I’m up around 70-75 mph my hood moves up and down with wind. Is there a fix ? Anyone else have this?

Have not seen any on mine, never saw any on my two JKs either, lots of people seem to see it though on the JKs

I read if you remove the hood latch spring it fixes it so I will give that a try. If it doesn’t fix I guess I will order rugged ridge latches

Never seen any on mine..or my JKU either even at 70-80.
I have stock hood latches on both.

I haven’t noticed any flutter on my Gladiator, but on my JK I noticed it almost immediately after buying. I removed the spring under the hood and it stopped the fluttering.

Never noticed it. Drive it home from picking it up in Idaho 650 miles at high way speeds and never seen it move. Will look closer from here on out.

Never on my JT but on my JK in high winds for sure. If a semi passed by on a 2 lane rd at 60+ I thought it was going to pop off. Very pleased that the JT hinges are much nicer.

Wife's 2017 Wrangler Unlimited did it to the point my wife said something. Took the spring off and put Rugged Ridge Stainless Steel hood latches on. Not a thing after that. Watch those stock plastic latches, they get weathered and break. It takes a lot of wind but it does happen.

I have 6k miles on mine almost all freeway miles and I have not had any movement.

Apparently I’m the only one so far with a gladiator that has had this issue. I’m about to be at 6k miles myself all highway 70+ mph everyday to work and back. I’ve noticed it for awhile and thought I was just seeing things till I confirmed with my gf The hood was moving while at 70mph on freeway. I removed spring from hood and doesn’t do it anymore
