@bastage, are you in a sport model or other? 35s?
Sport S w/ Max Tow. & yes 35's... But not for much longer. Will have 37's on it within the next week as long as my bead lock rings get here when they should.

@bastage thanks and about the tires....aww don’t tell me that.... I’m trying to stick with 35s, but would rather buy once if I’m going to end up trading up.

My Clayton Offroad 2.5" kit is on order. So far I received the shocks drop shipped from Falcon. Also received notice my wheels and tires shipped. Now its a race to see what all arrives and when. I would love to have it all by the end of next week but dont know when the kit has or will ship as they were waiting on a few pieces to return from powdercoat. Call me silly but i really dont even want to drive my JT until I get it lifted and on a decent set of wheels and tires. For now it sits in my garage with 100 miles on it. My CJ is getting all the nice weather attention.

Tires are a wear item. So unless you’re pushing the limits there is no reason to change early after getting whatever size you want. I am using mine heavily and have been hung up where the 1” of tire would of gotten me over. I’m also regearing and adding lockers and well 5.13’s with 35’s wold be a little too deeply geared

I’ll be re gearing also so all the more need to know what the “end” size will be.

Finally able to hit the OHV Park since the wildfre smoke has settled down.

The 2.5" kit was more like 3.5-4" on my Overland. Even with the huge amount of actual lift there was enough flex to stuff the fender fully on the Overland. This is with the JKS disconnects.

I have to say this shot looks like nothing. But the drop to the right is extreme. I turned the truck off and started to survey it. There was an incredibly modified Jeep down the hill and the driver asked if we needed help. Turns out he was a trail spotter parked there because there was one gnarly drop not expected.

We talked through the line and we agreed that the driver side 6-inch rock was the only way through.

The added problem was further left of the driver rock was a very sharp jagged output that would shred a tire wall.

He helped me place the tire just right on driver so that passenger did not fall off and driver did not impact the jagged rock. Rear tire the same.

Added confidence is I had chosen this line beforehand and asked him to spot us. He said we were never in danger.

His long arm YJ had bounced over this on the way up earlier in the day he said. He was impressed the JT made it down easily with proper line.

I'm sure it looks like nothing, eaay peasy, in photos but it was narrow as hell and about half inch from shredding the tire driver sidewall

@j.o.y.ride does the base 2.5 kit come with extended links and bumpstops?
Also my garage is 80”. Do u think 37’s and and 2.5 Clayton would fit?
There's several kits on their site, you would need to go check which you want to get. I am not sure what each option comes with.

My garage is 80.5 to the actual top, but my door hangs at 79.75. I would probably need to get the garage door guy to adjust the door, if possible, to get it to tuck all the way in to get on 37s. I think. It would be close no doubt at 80.

I went with the 2.5" Overland Plus kit. looking forward to getting this installed. I just need to mark out a day and get it done.
I ordered the same lift kit. I am so jealous seeing your lift kit and tires waiting to be installed ... I am waiting for word on my order to be shipped. There was delay in the coils. To top it off, there's a delay in my 37" tires as well... Uughh... Make sure you post pics! Have fun installing it!
