wheels turning lol
Wheels def turning but longer term. Got a lot to do before then but good to know. I'd put it in the 2-3 year plan unless this market tanks totally, I buy back in, and it goes on another run.

I wanna overhaul the axels first and do total under body armor and complete the surround of rock rails and bumpers. Then I'll dig into drive shafts and 37s and ball joints.

@j.o.y.ride do you have a side profile of your Jeep? I’m on the fence with 37’s and 35’s.

I am going to go to 37s eventually, but I believe Clayton really recommends their 3.5" kit for that. Street truck I bet you would be fine. But 37s are a sort of last on the list thing after a whole host of upgrades.

Honestly the pics don't really look the same in person. You should go see a truck locally if you can. I have look at my 35 side view pics and think they look small, in real life they are not. I have seen 40s look perfect on a truck in pics, in person it looks comical.

Go to a meetup and look in person, that's best. IMO.

Basically all lift manufacturers seem to say the same thing... But our 2.5 is MUCH taller then other brands 3.5.. I dont think I would be worried about that for 37's.. Even if I still had the stock fenders I would have the space.

I purchased the Clayton 2.5" Overland+ Lift kit. I consulted with James from Clayton, he did confirm and assure me that 37x12.5R17 with 17x9 Wheels with 4.5"BS and -12 Offset will definitely work with their solution. I am just waiting patiently for my lift kit to be shipped. There was a serious delay in the production of the coils. I had to change my tires, which I planned to be 37x12.5 Cooper STT Pros to the Toyo Open Country M/T tires. I have tell you guys that j.o.y.ride was one of the first person I communicated with regarding Clayton solution. He was great in sharing information with me. I was leaning towards MetalCloak, but did a total change of direction when I joined this forum and started communicating with members and Clayton. I am excited about my purchase, but I am so weary about the delays. Every time I see a member post their pics with their Clayton Lift, I am excited, but I am completely envious! :)

Not sure what your time table is, but all of Claytons lifts are backordered by 4-6 weeks, so that may affect your decision.

My Clayton lift 2.5” netted me almost 4“ of lift. I posted specific pics with measurements before and after in a thread here somewhere. My JT rides fantastic. Much better than a friends with a mopar lift and spacers. You do get what you pay for.

I am still waiting on set up. I got my front springs and bump stops...short arms are weeks out. I don't plan to build until Turkey Day weekend so I'm patient.

Clayton definitely over delivers on their lift numbers. 37"s will absolutely fit a Rubicon. I have Clayton 2.5" front springs and 3.5" rear springs (due to 600lb + constant load) and I netted a full 3" lift at all four corners. I'm actually hoping a bumper and winch will bring down the front a little bit.

I went with the Clayton 2.5 inch kit with flacon 3.3 shocks. I am running 37” Goodyear Mgr at 29psi and love the ride. I have the front shocks on 2 and back one 1. The ride at first was too stuff now with the shocks set where I like them the ride is extremely smooth almost factory. Even my wife says the ride is better then stick even at 75 on the freeway.

I knew they were going to be delayed but it turned out much longer than I expected. However, good thing I ordered a clayton's 3.5 kit before my jeep arrives in a few weeks.
