Fitted the "Desert Does It" seat jackers and MMP kit on my drivers seat.
Seat base angle is better for me now and for longer trips.
I'm not sure how I feel about the spacers, looks a bit awkward with how it attaches to the floor. I'll try it for a while and see if I keep it on my Jeep.

Also fitted the "Redline Tuning" hood gas strut kit, it was the heavier rated kit for the Mojave steel hood.
Went in ok and appears to work well.

standard version. I think ARE says 150lbs or so. I ran a very similar shell on an older Tacoma and saw no issues running a Ruggedized tepui, Frontrunner rack, and awning (around 260lbs or so). It’s all about weight distribution and wheeling with some common sense.

I’m looking to do the same setup but with a larger tent . I think the tent alone is 150lbs , plus a couple people sleeping , dog etc . I would be 4-5 times over the rates limit . I will have to look into other options if they don’t release a HD version that’s reasonably priced . The softopper with rack option looks nice . I believe it had somewhere around 1000lbs load rating

So the load is a dynamic load while traveling. Static is a non issue and the tent on mine is 160lbs. The shell could support the truck upside down so your 1000 lbs static should be no issue.

I haven't shared anything here in quite some time. I need to get back in the habit of doing so.

It wasn't today, but my two most recent mods:

Wiring/Installing a solar setup. It's a 55W semi flexible panel, with a bluetooth enabled MPPT charge controller. (In the finished product, the panel will be mounted to my rooftop tent, on a quick disconnect, once my camper shell comes in next month.)

And installing my PRP seat covers. Excellent quality, and customer service. The console cover was slightly too large (as you may have noticed in the picture) so PRP expedited me a replacement free of charge.

The seat covers look great!
