Thanks to members who posted Vision X back up lights, I installed the same. Makes a huge difference in backing up in dark areas. I wired mine up to one of the Aux switches. These weren't cheap, but the lights and bracket appear to be of high quality. It was nice that it included all wires/harnesses to wire it to existing Aux switch or use the switch and relay kit that comes with it. Unlike some of the universal flush mount lights, these can be adjusted to tilt up and down. I bought mine on Amazon for $240.

Seems like overkill, since they are extremely easy to lift off with one person.
I already had the lift from my jku so it was just easier to slightly modify it to keep it relevant

Tinted the front door windows today. Baby steps. More things on order/planned.

Looks great, any reason to not just have them come in automatically when in reverse?

Great question. I would've tapped/spliced into the back up circuit, but I wanted to see how often I need the lights when it's not in reverse (like loading things in the dark). I've also thought about tapping it into the cargo lights.

So it's just plug and play?

Sort of. I didn't have to cut or drill anything on the truck. The factory reflector is held on by 3 small bolts, which were reused to mount the new lights. There is a plastic wire clip on the back of the reflector that you have to remove (it holds the wires for the back up sensors, if you have them). They supplied the harnesses and wires. I had to use my own zip ties, a ring lug for the ground, and a butt connector (to wire to Aux switch cable). If you don't have Aux switches, they provide the kit containing switch and relay. Quadratec has instructions and video.

Interested to hear what works for you. I'm also hearing more wind noise on the passenger side at 65+. Not bad but definitely louder than anywhere else in the truck.
Hey @miko. Did you ever solve your wind noise? I have the same issue and have narrowed it down to the door gasket at the windshield on the passenger side. I can tape it off or throw a rag in the crack and totally kill the leak. But I'm not sure what's going on.... Bad seal or bad door alignment. The door looks like it's aligned well.

Free oil change at the dealer I bought it from and they ordered parts for the steering TSB. they're expected 11/13 ish so I'll be heading the 175 m back up once the parts arrive.
