A technique called whipping. Its normally used on the end of large ropes to prevent fraying.

Deleting(razor knifing) the air dam thingies, or the winglets.....not sure what they are called but they had to be the very first mod. I seriously hope the one guy responsible for them saw that picture and repents, I would be ok if he simply wept after viewing said picture.

Removed the stock storage and installed the locking one.

Installed the export mirrors and proximity door handles today. The wide angle mirrors are perfect for towing. Now just waiting on the mirror jumper wiring for the signals.

No, I never did get it addressed. I'm now hearing it at 45+ but I'm not driving a lot due to my WFH situation so it's not as urgent. I do plan to mention it at my first Jeep Wave oil change and see what the dealer can do about it.

Yeah I'm right there with you on that plan.... Too bad the other half doesn't feel the same way ;-) I'm heading to the dealer to cancel my maintenance plan now that I find out I have Jeep Wave so I''' bring it up then.

Got the n fab rs step bars installed, very impressed with them ,very sturdy. only issue I had were the 6 vertical bolts that mount to bottom of cab the were flanged bolts with integrated washers, but Barely wide enough for the brackets of the step bars so I put some bigger washers on no big deal since we had a bunch in the shop.

Its 11am and this is what I got done today:
- Cascadia solar and VSS controller
- 25 Amp constant hot 12v plug to back seat area
- Red Line hood shocks
- Drake Lockable hood latches

I just picked up an A.R.E. cap from a Tacoma that I'm going to spray with bed liner...

hopefully mount today.
