Hi guys, total noob here who was recently bitten by the Jeep bug after renting one recently for a trip to Tahoe after a fresh few feet of snow storm had rolled through....picked ups JLU Sahara at Ontario airport and was very impressed how well it drove at high speeds and obviously how fun it was in the snow....compared to the JK's we rent in Hawaii, the JL seemed like a pretty nice step up and now I've been trying to convince the boss we need another toy.....anyway long story short dragged her with me to local Jeep dealer here in Temecula to look at some JLUR's and to my surprise I see her checking out the JT's....lol so now I think the JT is th way to go.....sold my Taco a few years ago and miss having a truck. best of both worlds get my Jeep and a truck for the price of one!! win win!

anyways, I was searching the usual sites and found Peterson's has some amazing discounts right now, especially on the left over 2020's like $59K msrp for $47K sale prices.....called them today, but kinda got weird vibe form the internet sales lady who really didn't have any answers on simple questions and took my contact info and was supposed to email me and have Kent get a hold of me after I mentioned his name, but never got email or heard back form Kent on my phone

Just wondering if anybody has experience with them as far as being legit with their advertised prices.....noticed an ugly trend with many Jeep dealers and misleading online prices here locally with many dealers.....any tips or story is welcomed. Thanks!

also, wtf is with some of these hilarious dealer add ons??? I mean Iknow they need to make money to pay the bills, but sheesh....Was at Huntington Beach Jeep today and was laughing at their $4495 "dealer additions" wow.....sad they get people to actually pay for that nonsense.

If you’re in SoCal prob need to find Rob Trachtman. Search the forum to find where he is. IIRC he offers 4% below Invoice on a new order. With no dealer adds like you showed in your pick. There are several other dealers that have up to 8% below invoice if you’re willing to travel.

Ordered & purchased our JTR Gobi through Kent. Awesome experience! He is very busy, shoot him an email & call.

No "BS" experience/games. Straight talk without the shady dealer stuff. Highly recommend them.

Would have been a 20 minute sign & drive away. But I was talking a lot with Kent & finance guy. No pressure for add on's either.

Picked up mine from there on Friday. Totally smooth and Kent is a great guy. Mine was ordered so I don't know about buying off the lot though.

I'll confirm what everyone else has said. Kent's the man and the experience couldn't have been any easier. I easily saved 4k off of what was available in my area.

Kent is awesome -- ordered my 2 DR JL from him -- great stand up guy with great prices. Just PLEASE ensure you guys are keeping the loan for 6 months so these deals don't disappear. Don't ruin it for the next guy =)

As others have said, just call and leave VM. You may have to try a few times. He's just super busy.

I know I am the exception to the rule, but Petersons was absolutely NOT helpful to me at all. I tried really hard to buy from them, but they wouldn't negotiate price at all & the customer service was below par.

Customer service was slow. They don’t negotiate pricing because it’s already at the bottom. They give the same deal to everyone to my knowledge. Wonder if it’s just a Kent thing then.

You quoted where I pointed out the pricing is NOT at the bottom. I saved nearly 7k a few miles away on a comparably equipped Max Tow.
