Unless you have a Class 3 receiver upgrade you have a Class 2. It is under the rear bumper.

I wanted my truck to come with a receiver but it did not. All gladiators should come from factory with the receiver. You should not have to buy that separate.

Check again. Unless you bought used and it was taken off it is standard equipment.

That’s not a hitch receiver, that’s a place to put a ball hitch.
You have to drill a hole through the bumper plastics.

I think the term "receiver" is a simple misnomer here.
That paper appears to be a shipping document and its simply saying there is a class II hitch (which I think is what bumper hitches are considered)

If it actually had the Mopar receiver hitch it would be a Class IV.

FWIW I don't believe a Class II "receiver" hitch even exist for our trucks as it would be a 1-1/4" receiver.

The receiver is part of the Tow Package. If you want it to come with a receiver, you have to pay for it. If you get the factory installed Tow Package, it also includes an upgraded alternator and cooling fan.

You can tow a trailer with it......If you want to install a “hitch receiver” you have to uninstall this piece that is in its place that does the same thing it does. Call it what you will.

That looks like it’s meant for the transport company personnel. Drivers and or yard peeps. Securing to the carriers.
