I running stock wheels/tires on my Mojave and want to move to a 35" but a little nervous about mounting a 35x12.5 on my stock rims. I will eventually swap out rims but I can't change to many things at once; my wife might notice.

Anyone running 35x11.5? There aren't many options but see the Nitto Trail Grapplers M/T come in a 35x11.5R17.

Thoughts?

Toyo has the AT III in 35 11.5 17
These are exactly what I intend to run. The new III is getting great review so far (including snow & ice) and with a C load rating they come in at 63lbs.

if you will end up going to 12.5 or wider later then you will lose money when you sell off the used tires and buy new ones. 12.5 on stock is ok. I wouldn't make it permanent. But I also wouldn't go buying narrower tires only to buy wider later.

Now if you actually want 10.5 or 11.5 that's different. But if you plan on 12.5 or 13.5 then I say wait... or run the 12.5 on factory.

Just do the 12.5

If you search my name and tire posts, You’ll see me say the same thing. You’ll also see Discount Tire give me a thumbs up.

ive been on 35x12.5R17 Duratracs for 4,000 miles and no irregular tire wear on stock rims.
