I running stock wheels/tires on my Mojave and want to move to a 35" but a little nervous about mounting a 35x12.5 on my stock rims. I will eventually swap out rims but I can't change to many things at once; my wife might notice.

Anyone running 35x11.5? There aren't many options but see the Nitto Trail Grapplers M/T come in a 35x11.5R17.

Thoughts?

Find and Talk to a tire expert too. Make sure they know what you want to do and your current driving habbits. That way, you do it once to keep you and your wife happy. Win Win Score Score.

Also there is this app called affirm...its magic

you can spread the cost of new tires out over 12 months (3 / 6 / 12 mo available) and only pay an extra $20 or so total in fixed interest. Theyre not a credit card so there int sn annual fee. i use them for most of my larger purchases just to spread out the hurt.

and no i am in no way affiliated with them, just absolutely impressed with the service they provide. Ive used affirm for years.

If you can find them the TOYO AT III (35 x 11.5 R17) have been very impressive so far in the cold and wet, not much snow this year.

How much lift are you running in this pic? This stance is perfect.
Thanks. It's a mopar 2" with a 1" teraflex spacer up front to make up for the bumper and winch

Edit: I'll add that I also used AEV geo correction bracket and front and rear adj trackbars but that doesn't effect stance much

THANKS! I’m thinking about a 3.5 inch lift but I’m worried it might be a little too much for 35s

Sorry had a hard time adding text. The top is with my summer tires, 37x12.5R17 and the bottom is with my winter tires, TOYO ATIII 35x11.5R17. This is a Clayton 3.5 overland Plus. Keep in mind this kit comes with a 4.5 front spring and 3.5 in the rear. I think their 2.5 kit comes with a 3.5 front spring and 2.5 rear.

I'd stay below a 11.5" tire on a 7.5" wheel.

I know tons of people rock a 315/70/17 on a 7.5" including the poster above, but you will get some woe from tire shops since the minimum width is 8" in that size. Also too narrow of a wheel can cause the tire to crown, creating premature wear and possible ride quality issues.

Just do the 12.5

If you search my name and tire posts, You’ll see me say the same thing. You’ll also see Discount Tire give me a thumbs up.

ive been on 35x12.5R17 Duratracs for 4,000 miles and no irregular tire wear on stock rims.
I've been buying from Discount Tire Direct for years. For my cars, trucks, and Jeeps. Do your research and know what you want. Then order it from them... Take the tires and wheels to a trusted shop and roll. You'll save a lot. I mean.. A LOT.
