Yep, the only reason they took care of mine was because I was back there two days later pointing it out and we were able to determine how it happened. I don't think paint is covered under the regular warranty but there is a a warranty option that my dealership offers that covers the paint, maybe he has that warranty on his.

I do not need to be worried, I am less than 8K in to my warranty.
