Damn, that was the factory. Luckily I opened my hood the day after I bought and my hose was disconnected. I plugged it back in and sent my salesman an email about their PDI skills.
I would not be so quick to blame the factory. While a possibility, with that mileage, the real culprit could be a dealership moron or anyone else passing by that just wanted to jack with your truck. So many dirtbags don’t need a reason.

What is odd is that is exactly what my jeep looked like the day after I bought it. You would think it would be caught during the PDI. I used to work at the dealer (over 20 years ago) It is definitely something I would catch on a PDI.

To my knowledge, that still does not get Canadians the "Jeep Wave" program which gets you the free oil change and tire rotations us in the States get.

Agreed. Spotted at delivery, that mistake is on factory or dealer prep. Finding it months later just leaves too much exposure with an unsecured hood to firmly lay blame.

Mine works great. Start the jeep with my phone. Use the app, take a shower, eat a meal, mow the lawn, then the jeep starts. Stellar

And Sirius guardian gets to track your every move, sell that information, and charge you for it.
I don’t mind starting the vehicle myself since I will warm it up for 4-5 minutes before driving the diesel. If it was an issue I would just use the fob to start it and go from there. None of the benefits you mention are a good enough reason for me to sell my personal info and then pay for the privilege. it stinks of rape.
