Dealers in VA offering 5%+ off invoice?

What's up guys? I'm new here but been lurking off/on for a few weeks. I'm set on a Gladiator Mojave but having trouble finding a dealership in the DMV region offering anything substantial off of invoice.

Recommendations?

Dealers like Gupton and TriCity have people flying from halfway across the country to get 7-8% under invoice if you use their financing and join tread lightly. You probably won’t find a sure thing closer, but you can take a build sheet from one of those dealers and try pressuring your local dealer to match.
I’d rather have a road trip and reward someone giving an upfront price than fight my local dealer to match it.

Just spoke with a guy at Koons and they are offering 3% with .5% added on with Tread Lightly.

Hey Spaded, how did Travis treat ya? Like you said, it’s hard getting a dealer in the DMV to negotiate. I’d probably rather drive 5 hours to NC than fight tooth and nail to get a halfway decent deal from one of these jokers.

Cold fact for me. Made 2 purchases through Travis this year (both arrived 4 weeks from ordering). Couldn't be any easier. Locally, it's just frustrating and was a complete waste of my time.

The experience for me with Travis has been a breath of fresh air in this whole ordeal. The process was simple, well explained, great communication, and I could not be happier. I'm about 3 hours away but it has been well worth it compared to trying and work with any of my surrounding dealerships. It seemed like they all were using the same playbook. When it got down to talking real numbers they would all go silent. I guess they were more interested in the easy sale. Well I got news for them Travis' method is the easy sale for everyone involved.

When comes time for another vehicle purchase I'll be giving Travis a call.

MSRP was $56,280
Invoice was $53,235
I got 6% under invoice with FCA affiliate
So $50,041 before incentives.
And finally $49,041 after $500 National cash for my area and $500 True car Private offer

Tri City has a flat $499 dealer fee on all sold orders and Tax and Tags are the only other numbers to take into account.

I ordered with CMA Jeep in Staunton VA. Getting about 7% under invoice on a 2022, check the spreadsheet. I got all my invoice pricing from this forum. I asked for 6% under invoice, but also added the national retail consumer cash discount of $500, bringing that to about 7% under invoice (before all the taxes and stuff). I agreed to a price that was just about $92 higher than what my math said it should be, but I wasn't going to sweat that amount. I noted it on my spreadsheet, as an analyst does lol

Part of the deal was that I would finance with them. When I ordered there was no Tread Lightly discount happening.

Worked with Erik and would highly recommend.
