Grab handles for the wife because she’s been sliding around since we took the doors off ? and foot pegs, which again, the wife will like but I won’t be using since I have a 6MT.

American Adventure Lab front inner fenders. I was to impatient to wait for the high line light kit to show up so I went ahead and installed these. Should be very easy to do the chop light now that i added there fender retention hardware also.

Got the Mojave "Pickled" today with Krown Rust Protection to help keep the winter road salt & nasty de-icing chemicals from eating it alive.
The owner of the shop did a super job with the application, and think it's a great value.
Cost was $150 and comes with an unlimitied mileage/lifetime warranty when applied to a new vehicle purchased less than 6 months prior to the application.

Looks great ! Mine from Shadeidea just came in today, I'll only be putting the front one on tomorrow and when I go completely topless here soon I'll add the back one as well. Looks really good, no sagging material or gapping. Nice job !

I've always been interested in this process, they just don't do it anywhere within a few states of where I live (NC). Also had researched Fluid Film.

Living somewhere that this isn't done so nobody knows anything about it or experience, are there any downsides? I'm familiar with the process for airplanes using Corrosion X, which we do and I'm a fan of, always liked the idea for my trucks with Krown or Fluid Film.

Nice looking truck!

That’s a great idea and a good price.
I love the black around the tailgate and lights.

Thanks! Happy with the fit, rain clouds rolled in right as I was finishing, so I’ll have to wait til next week to test it out on road. FYI I just took the freedom panels off to install the front, still pretty easy without loosening the windshield.

Thanks for the compliment on the truck.

I can't really think of any real downsides to this, and no matter what it has to be better than doing nothing at all.
I first heard of this product on an undercoating/rust proofing thread on this forum.
Did some further research, and seemed to be the best option for me.
I definitely wasn't interested in any type of asphalt, or "Ziebart" type of undercoating as that only ends up being applied to where you see it, and not where it really needs to get.

The Krown product was originally developed in Canada, so they know a thing or two about road salt & vehicle rust up there.
It is sprayed on as a heated vapor like steam if that makes sense, so it works it's way into all the body seams & crevasses.
Here are a couple of YouTube links that I found that do a good job of explaining the product & application process:

Just knew I had to do something to help it to fend off rust & corrosion as long as possible.
For the lifetime warranty, you are required to take it back annually for a touch up/re-application which you would have to do with any rustproofing.
I'm fine with that as $150 is a fair price, and much less than it would be to repair/repaint from rust.
That, and Lord knows I've blown that much or more each year in the past on dumber things.

Here are some better pix of the tailgate & hood graphics:

Thanks for the info. I agree, I’d totally do it too for $150, no brainer if there was even a remotely closer option.
