Ya'll who are getting these emails, did you sign up for something extra at the time you ordered?

From checking in with my dealer and Jeep chat, apparently my JT finished final inspection yesterday. Today Jeep Chat told me it's "in shipping". What phase of shipping I don't know, as Jeep Chat told me they don't use the status codes and could only tell me that it is in shipping phase and I do not yet have an ETA assigned. I expect it's sitting on the factory lot waiting to leave, so I don't know this shutdown will affect those of us who are built but waiting to ship.

All that said, it sounds like I just squeaked by before the shutdown, but outside of my dealer and JC, i've not received any emails from Jeep wave.
I'm trying to figure out how everyone is receiving these emails as well, does the dealer automatically sign us up for these when we order because I see no place to register with VON and/or VIN.

I'm trying to figure out how everyone is receiving these emails as well, does the dealer automatically sign us up for these when we order because I see no place to register with VON and/or VIN.
I’m also wondering if people who are getting these emails are impacted by the chip shortage while those who have not received an email is on schedule. From what I can tell, FCA has a lack of communication internally and externally. Go figure.

I already had an account with Jeep Wave since I had a JK. I just got the email today that my expected delivery date is 10/16.... I ordered on 7/5

What is it that y’all signed up for? I signed up for the mopar site and Jeep app but it wouldn’t let me add the Vin that I have.

I didn’t sign up for anything and I got the email. I assume my dealer entered in somewhere along the order process.

Just for Jeep Wave. If you Build Sheet isn't created yet, you probably can't look up the vehicle. I have a VIN but I can't add it to my Jeep Wave account yet.

It's a good bet that the dealer set it up. The email cc'd someone from my dealership that I had never heard of before.

Just received this earlier, I ordered my Gladiator Overland on 7/13 then got this. After dealer said they were taking about 5 to 8 weeks when I ordered it, oh well.

I am in same boat. Although I had ordered my Sport S on 6/26 and got same email with that week as well. hope all goes well for you.

that’s surprising. My dealer said I couldn’t order a 22 until late November. So no orders between this Wednesday and late November?

I ordered every option except for the hard top and the bluetooth speaker... So mine has a high chance of getting delayed.

I only emailed Mike a few times and had an order placed the same day I first contacted him. He's been great to work with. I got 7% under invoice but I agreed to finance with them.
