Thank you, Ive ran this on my JL and JK with zero temp issues. Might have to pull it if I do some towing but other than that it will be good

Jeep should buy that top photo from you for marketing. Wow, that's worthy of framing and hanging on a wall.

I took the dead pedal out to try some adjustments on it. It was just a bit too close to me at the bottom especially.
As a side note - this one is really nice as I can rest my foot up high on it, or down low, to sort of change positions, even stretch my leg out a bit but still have my foot on the ground, so to speak.

It's the Hooke Road version - these are the tools you need.
3/8" ratchet, a long extension helps a lot, and a 13 mm socket. I left the nut in place on the firewall, put the dead pedal over the stud, added a washer and a second nut so I can easily remove and put it back, never touching the original nut on the truck.
The other items - 1/4" ratchet with 10mm socket and a 7mm allen wrench for the socket head screws that hold the pedal parts together.

I took mine out today so I could move the pedal part inward on the bracket to move it away from me. This is how they go together - 3 parts - bracket, pedal and the small "Foot" on the lower right in this pic would go against the floor/firewall to support the top of the pedal.

I also put a second hole in the bracket thinking I was going to move it up - fail - there's too much plastic up there and with the pedal moved on the bracket, I think it will be fine now so didn't use the second hole.

Here yo can see that piece that some people seemed to question - what the heck is this for? Well, it's support at the top end so when you bigger guys with size 14 boots press down on the thing, it's got some support up there and doesn't bend that top bracket - just kidding on the shoe size, BTW........
If I want it removed, socket, extension, ratchet, 10 seconds to removal as I left the factory nut in place on that blue stud before installing this.

I pulled off the stock California Edition wheels and replaced with Launch Edition. Went from 245/75r17 to 285/70r17 Wildpeaks and the ride is dramatically better. I also installed Seat Jackers and they are awesome. Finally, I ran power from the 12v accessory jack to a charging plug in the rear console. Cost me about $50 and now the kids can charge their phones. Yes, the plug is upside-down...I like the cover to open downward for better visibility at night.

Did you use Mopar Part Number: 06511076AA nut/rivets for the lower skid plate bracket ? I did use this part with the Warn mounting plate on my installation and am not sure that I installed the nut/rivets properly.

How long did you have to wait to receive that AVS shield? Ordered mine about a month ago, still no shipping/tracking info…
It's been awhile since I got it, but if I remember correctly, it was 2 weeks. I ordered it directly from AVS.

Quick question. Are the grill inserts (between the grille and the mesh) the same color as the grille? I painted my grille yesterday but realized afterward that the insert should probably have been painted as well....

Painted my grille today. Im happy-ish with the result.... Definitely not as nice as an actual MOPAR Satin Grille.

Wondering if I should've painted the headlight surrounds and grille inserts as well... Thoughts?

Yesterday I finally got around to installing the front Rubicon springs and terraflex 1.5 leveling kit on the overland. Got enought lift out of it that the terraflex swaybar quick disconnects now work without rubbing :)

Still need to do the back springs and Daystar 3/4 spacer.

Trying to torque the lower control arm bolts were a pain. Any tips? I could barely fit the torque wrench underneath.

I used this 12v harness:

https://www.amazon.com/Volt-Power-Adapter-Wrangler-Gladiator/dp/B087T2W99F

and this Powerwerx USB charging port:

https://powerwerx.com/backlit-blue-...L9glUV8iOvfnoBZZ14NpczJmWLIrmQm4aAsGlEALw_wcB

Pulling the dash panels off gave me access to the 12v accessory plug. Attaching the harness was simple, then I ran two 16g wires from the harness through the center console tunnel, and out to the back of the rear console. That back panel comes off with 2 screws in the armrest storage. Drilling out the hole for the usb is simple enough and the plug fits easily in the cavity between the rear A/C ducts.

It's not powered by an accessory switch, rather it's piggybacked on the ignition controlled 12v outlet to the left of the window controls

Have seen a lot of people black out the fog light trim, but I did something a little different:
20210829_145144.jpg
Can you walk us through how you did this - my body shop guy told me anything textured plastic doesn't work well for painting and my assumption is the fog light trim is exactly that.
