FINALLY!!! I have looked all over the FB gladiator pages and even posted as such asking. All you get is a bunch of folks posting 4" lifts with 38s when I ask lol. There is def some wheel gap in the front but I do not think that looks bad at all. I also have the diesel and a steel mid-width bumper so I suspect the front will be a bit lower anyways.

I could totally rock that look, and once I jump to 37s I'll still be good to go. Man thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed to see, same 2.5 overland plus lift... and it's even the same color lol.

I plan to run the Falcon SP2 3.3s, which shocks are you using and how would you say the ride is on the road and highway compared to the stock ride?
Glad to help. I am running Fox 2.0 IFP 2-3" and have the 3.6 gasser. It rides/handles great around town and on rutted out backcountry roads. All the loose sketchy handling is gone as well from the stock suspension.

100% satisfied with the lift and couldn't be happier. Only thing I hear is that the Falcons are a lot stiffer, but it might help since you have the diesel.

Fantastic to hear. I have heard the same about the falcons but running the 3.3 version that are adjustable should help. Did you buy any other components other than the lift?

Yours absolutely will look great. The Sport doesn't have the Rubicon's Highline fenders so there isn't as much "gap". You're setup should look perfect!

Man oh man, my 2.5 ride right kit has been sitting for too long! I'm gonna get mine installed this weekend! Your JT has inspired me to get it done. I had my doubts if I ordered the right kit and those doubts are gone.

Yea, I think they will be good for the diesel. Only other thing I have is just a Fox 2.0 TS steering stabilizer and some extra skids plates.

Awesome, you will like it. The kit is solid! Just follow all the pointers in this thread about the installation. Sway bar endlinks and jams nuts all need to be tight.

Actually kinda like the look of a fender gap. On the Rubicon in those pics. Not a fan of the how big of tires can I fit with the stuffed look. Might as well go with 24s and 60 series tire. :CWL: :CWL::CWL:

But they were what looks like 33s right? I thought I could make out the Wildpeak A/T on it. I'm seriously considering the 2.5" Overland with my 35s so I'm trying to get an idea of what it will look like.
Yes, the original photos were the stock 33" Falken ATs

Has anyone on here thought about using Sumo Springs for the front and rear as opposed to the Clayton bump stops? I hear really good things about them curious how'd they perform in conjunction with the Clayton 2.5" Overland setup.

@Clayton Off Road , have you guys finished developing a fix for the 3.5 lift rear springs comming of the seat when shocks are fully extended?

I don't really think it's Clayton's fault given the lack of post in the back. It's mostly just folks wanting to get as much down travel as possible and buying long travel shocks.

Realistically buy shorter shocks or use the existing solution of limit straps (or the teraflex coil retainers).

The shocks are the ones sold and recommended by Clayton (Falcon 3.3), and a while back they were looking at some possible solutions. I am just asking to see if they have come up with something to avoid me having to reposition the shocks at home every time I have an oil change or a tire rotation.

There's unfortunately nothing we can do about this issue, as it is really more of a Jeep design problem and needs to be remedied either by shock manufacturers designing shocks with less travel, or by using some sort of spring retainer kit or limiting straps. Teraflex actually just came out with a spring retainer kit for the JT to help remedy this issue, so definitely check that out if you're interested! Also, Falcon has told us that they are actually now recommending using their 2-3" shocks for vehicles with under 4" of lift, as this also solves the too much travel problem that is occuring. Happy to answer any other questions regarding this issue if anybody needs any advice!

Sorry must have missed this one! On a Rubicon, with the 2.5" kit you'd probably see about a 3" increase in the rear and a 3.5" increase in the front, and with the 3.5" about a 4" increase in the rear and 4.5 in the front. We would definitely suggest a new set of shocks that is designed to work specifically with the amount of lift you intend on going with for best results!
Thoughts about the 3.5 kit on a Diesel Rubicon........sorry for taking the lazy route and not reading all 23 pages.

Cheers
