So it finally happened, the Sport S I ordered back on 06/23 finally has a build sheet. Everything looks good on it except the gorilla glass isn’t listed. I thought I remembered seeing someone else somewhere say it didn’t show up on their build sheet but it did on their window sticker.
Can anyone who has ordered gorilla glass let me know if it showed up on their build sheet or does it only show up on the window sticker? After having to replace my fair share of windows on my previous Jeep the gorilla glass was one of my most important options, right after Max Tow of course (which according to other threads I’m obligated to let everyone know about… lol)

Loaded Rubicon I ordered 8 weeks ago just arrived. "Corning Gorilla Glass" was on my build sheet towards the end under "Options" and it is on the Sticker as "Windshield Corning Gorilla Glass"

I appreciate you carrying the flag. Jeep Cares needs to ensure your satisfaction on this matter as you are part of the elite.

Over 6k miles of off-road trails and 27k miles in a year and a half and now I get my first busted front windshield by a rig switching lanes in front me while driving to Atlanta. I guess I have a reason to upgrade my front windshield now? Anyone have the gorilla glass and can you talk about it, is it worth it?

We have a different deal here in Florida. If you have full coverage insurance windshield replacement is free, no deductible. You even have glass shops that will pay you to replace your cracked or chipped windshield.

It is not showing on my build sheet as well but I checked with jeep chat and it is showing when they pulled it up.

I wonder if they changed the wording. I have seen on the bottom of some build sheets: ‘Windshield Material - Glass’ Would that be it?

That might be the case as my build sheet said Window Material: Glass on it, which actually made me think it was not going to have gorilla glass, but window sticker just showed up and it has gorilla glass on it.

My build sheet says the same as yours and Jeep Chat said it was on the build so I think we are good. How long after your build sheet did you yet the window sticker?

For me it was 2 days. I checked with Jeep chat on Monday and they said my gladiator was built and awaiting options so I checked and build sheet showed up (wasn’t showing when I checked last Friday). Window sticker just showed up this morning and dealer told me I was in KZS status awaiting shipping.

Nice! I got my build sheet yesterday around noon. I was hoping for the window sticker today but it may be tomorrow.

I ordered a replacement gorilla glass for my gladiator following a cracked windshield about a week ago. It came in yesterday and I took it to the dealer for install, but they said it can’t be installed because I have ACC/Forward collision warning. I ordered it from the dealer and they used my vin to find what would work (gorilla did show as an option based on my vin). So the parts guy and the body shop guy are at odds. Any info here? Anybody had gorilla installed on a gladiator with ACC? Mine is a 2020, so it didn’t have gorilla new from the factory when purchased.

thanks.

Was just driving on 95 and got hit with a random rock, left a nice crack that felt like was growing as I drove... I've got insurance/comprehensive, so should be free. But will they install OEM/Gorilla glass again or an alternative?
