Doesn't seem like there's an intro section but I am completely brand new to the forums. Bought my brand new Gladiator August 20th.

Wow, unbelievable photoes, thanks for the TREAT folks!

I'll be joing the "club" in a few months when I get my '22 Mojave.

Hydro-Blue won me over red over the last few weeks, my question is what material is the standard black fenders made of and what material are the body-colored fenders made of?

Outside what is visually appealing (and price) to an individual are there any Pro's/Cons of getting one style over the other?

Thanks in advance!

I prefer the black fenders and top with the blue color, if either get damaged they are much cheaper to replace, hydro blue is a very difficult color to match if you needed to have a fender or top painted from being damaged.

I agree with this. Got the black fenders, and wished I had the painted, until I started going off road. I have so many knicks in my rear fenders from rocks, couldn’t imagine what painted fenders would have looked like.

Having owned 8 Jeeps prior to my JT, I much prefer the painted to the black plastic. Simply because after a few years of exposure, the black ones fade and look bad. Yes, there’s stuff you can apply that serves a temp fix, and there’s the heat gun method of bringing back the black, but that gets old and cumbersome.
Honestly, you’ll get as many opinions on that as you’d get on what’s the best pizza topping.
