I'll be curios to see the new Ranger Raptor when/if it comes out. If it really is a baby Raptor and reasonably priced, it will be tempting.

A Tremor with the 2.7 would be pretty hot. I think the Bronco is going to help bring more to the next gen Ranger. They already have a Wildtrak trim on the overseas version of the current gen.

I’m in Australia and rangers over here are everywhere! While they are a good truck in the 5cyl, the new Bi-turbo 2L 4cyl in particular our raptor and raptor X is getting a very bad name for itself, constant reports of engines cutting off or going into limp mode. No what you want to hear about when going to buy a $88,000 ($66,000usd) truck, they should have come with a V8 option anyway! It’s what made me steer clear of them, plus the gladiator is such a better truck for what I use it for ?

I'm excited to see it - but know it may be 2'ish years before it is in the U.S. Australia seems to get it around a year earlier.

Based on current reports I wouldn't get super excited. Doesn't sound like anything revolutionary or even evolutionary, mostly just bringing it more modern. I'm wondering if it's getting the bronco version of the 2.7 which is fairly yawn for a 2.7 turbo or if it will be tuned more like the f150 2.7 which would make it significantly better.

Expect the bronco engine and transmission choices and nothing else. If there is a third engine choice more powerful than the 2.7 (the 3.0 has been widely speculated) expect that to be the BRaptor engine they reveal in spring

If the new one is anything like the current gen, then a Ranger Raptor would feel kinda like a Cobalt SS kind of thing. Cheap turbo power in a tin can.

I'm excited about the crowd of new trucks coming out in the next year or so as well. Especially after the MY22 disappointment. Ford's offering would have to come with an over unity engine, magnetic levitation, a multigenerational warranty, and a blowjob machine for me to even consider a Ford though. I honestly can't think of another automaker in the US market I wouldn't buy before I bought a Ford given their track record over the last few decades. Things like what @swazza94 said, the Bronco nightmare, the dual clutch transmissions, diesel emissions systems failures, something major with the F150s a few years back, the crapgasm that was the Focus when it came out... Is that enough? I feel like that's enough.

They all have problems.

The Chevy shake, TIPM issue with Rams, transmission problems with Rams.

Another Ford you can pre-order and not get while they build basic bitch models, hand them out to celebrities, influencers and do “priority orders?” Where do I sign up for that!

Are you really on a mopar forum talking about the reliability concerns of another manufaturer? I mean i'm all for bashing ford where the bashing is rightfully due, but this is still Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Alfa Fiat Maserati we're talking about here. Outside the wrangler/gladiator/cummins ram it's not exactly a pantheon of longevity all-stars.

So we can expect Jeep to announce something new for the Gladiator on November 23, 24, or 25th? I'm hoping for an Ultimate Recon Rubicon Gladiator. It should have Mojave suspension, Rubicon lockers, swaybar disconnect, and T-case, cast iron knuckles, 4.56 or 4.88 gears, 35" tires, beadlock capable wheels, and...what else?
