I'll be getting my ordered 22MY Mojave soon (hopefully!), and then will be towing a camper that has a dry weight of 4,800lbs on a 3,500 round trip vacation. I know I can't add a ton of payload and camping weight and am aware of that. I have a WDH and a sway bar for the hitch. I feel like that is likely enough for a local towing/camping. But on this long trip, I think I will appreciate the extra rear suspention support. I don't know what bags, timbren or sumo do to the stock ride, and am curious to hear thoughts on that, and what you choose and why.

My understanding is that the bags need to stay at 5psi.... does that effect stock ride when not towing?
My understanding is the timbren come off pretty easy for a stock ride when not towing?

Thanks for any and all input! I would like to to do this right the first time.

I have airlift bags at 5psi. Can't tell any difference.

The bags work well to handle the extra weight.

Especially in a Mojave.

Nice. What brand do you have? What do you keep them at when towing?

Also, I think you are the closest member I have seen yet! I live just south of Goshen!

My trailer is about 3200lbs loaded and I carry a couple hundred lbs of stuff in the bed. I have an Anderson WDH and Airlift bags in the rear coils.

When I connect up the trailer I add about 25lbs to the air bags to get the truck near level then tighten the chains on the WDH to reach stock height and off we go. It hauls real nice until I get offroad then I release tension on the WDH so the dips in the road don't transfer too much weight to the rear of the truck through the WDH. I also drive real slow off road after reading about some bent frames with setups like mine.

++++1 Airlift. Easy install with 2 individuals + floor jack without disconnecting any bolts. Lifetime warranty. true!! had mine replaced with free shipping 2 years ago.
Yes, 5 psi with no negative effects on handling, just make sure you do not have too much slack or air line could get caught between the bag and spring...you won't be able to add air! Guilty.
I prefer a two-line installation so I could tell easily which side of airbags is leaking, if it happens.
I have used it with my sienna van, toyota 4runner, honda pilot, and now the G.

It's 5300#. But, boy, I have to travel light. Good thing I have the max tow pkg.?
On the airlift, if you get it, customer service can look for the receipt for you if you bought it from a distributor. No hassle warranty claim. I had a leak on one bag after using it for 3 years, they sent me a set of bags for free!!!
