Took advantage of their Black Friday deal and purchased their engine/tans and transfer case skid plate kit. ASFIR are fantastic to deal with. I made the mistake of transposing shipping and billing addresses and they told me they pay extra with the shipper for address corrections should we need them. I contacted DHL and the correction was made. Had it delivered just a few days after the order was placed. Install was easy, instructions aren't great. You can figure it out with a little intuition and pictures from posts like this one. For the Gladiator everything is a direct bolt on. Takes two bolts out and reinstall. Nothing gets removed and everything is installed over the factory parts. Literally took 45 minutes to install. That was only because I has one of the sheet metal clips was installed just a little off and had to redo it. Had to partially remove and reinstall the engine/trans skid. Decided to paint mine, but I know it won't last long. Will look good from the sides at least. Entire kit is like 30 pounds...very light. Have aluminum skids on my TJ, and prefer the weight savings over steel.

Very interesting location. I'm going to give that a shot with my iDrive controller. It's just bright enough at night to be distracting.
I haven't had a lot of time with it, but it is working well there so far.

I will say that the space is tight between that lip I mounted it on and the underside of the opening when the glove box is closed.
I used a piece of putty to check the clearance and there is just enough so the screen doesn't contact it.

I want to use some velcro to hold it on for when I need to pull the glove box off, but there isn't a lot of extra height. For now the command strips are easy enough to use, I doubt I'll be pulling the glove box off that often anyway.

Finally installed some added protection with the RokBlokz. Just did the fronts for now. That was my main concern.

Held off on posting this because I don’t believe the system is fully bled yet (first time I’ve ever done brakes, and did it myself). I bought the Teraflex big brake kit, and proceeded to install it over a couple days. It was mostly “plug and play”, with a few exceptions:

* The front rotors hit the stock dust shields. You can bend a certain portion, but I decided to just keep them off. The factory brake lines work fine.
* The rear calipers hit the stock dust shields, and you cannot simply remove them due to their integration with the e-brake. You will have to cut them (as seen in the pics).
* The factory rear brake lines were definitely not long enough with my Mopar lift kit, but luckily Teraflex tells you this (even for stock vehicles), so I bought some RockJock extended lines which are perfect.
* The rotors do not have a hole for the retainer screw, so it makes install just slightly more tedious since you’ll need some lug nuts to hold it.
* The spreader springs for the pads were hitting the rotors, so I had to bend them up.

Otherwise it’s a nice system. Perfect fitment to the factory caliper bolting locations. The check valve system is good, but like I said - I don’t think it’s fully bled. I likely still need a friend to hold the brake pedal down while the check valve gets re-torqued (as an aside, the front passenger caliper check valve thread was slightly crushed, but I was able to work around it).

I wouldn’t say I’ve noticed a difference, but I also don’t want to give an official review if there still may be air. All I can say is they stop, and they look good.

Thanks! They are original XL and they work great. My JT gets trashed when it rains at work. There is run off from a local limestone mine that destroys the road and it covers the truck. Well I should say it used to.

I'm going to spring for the rears soon. I might go for the XL long
Definitely go for the longs in the rear. I went with regular xl all around and the rear actually sits higher by design of the fender. I knew I should've went with my hunch and got the longer for the rears. Might (educated guess) actually sit the same or similar height off the ground.

Awe man. I can't wait to get mine. I did at least receive the jcr roof rack today. How long did it take for you to get yours?

Pulled the front fenders and installed the Morimoto (aka Winjet) smoked sequential turn signals with LED drls. Also installed my Oracle headlights. Man I love the quality and output of these. I also layed the wiring for my fog DRLs but waiting on installing the fogs until the new bumper comes. Also wired up the signal part of my D&C designs cowl lights and man they are bright. Still waiting to install wiring for the white light to do at the same time I install my Voswitch. Man that Voswitch setup looks to be top quality.

Right about 3 weeks to get the overland rack, roof rack got there just over a week before.

Are you planning on mounting it to the trail rail? I had fitment issues with mine, had to take off the trail rail and mount it to the lip of the bed.
