Had to have both of mine replaced under warranty. They felt loose and cheap from the beginning. I have to say the replacements feel different. They snap into place better and the movement is stiffer. I don’t know whether that means that they’ve actually been updated and will last longer or if they are the same crap but maybe we’re installed a little better. Time will tell.

Just installed mine as preventive maintenance.
I suggest grinding a bevel as shown in the ebay pic. I accidentally cut a small groove in my driver side visor upon initial installation.
This pic shows groove and the necessary bevel..

Just bought 2 sets of the double screw HD clips.
Had one break on our JL that was fixed under warranty.
Dont even want to deal with this on my JT due to the "stuff" on its visor.

Yep, I had to grind both sides as the visor would not even come close to snapping into the bracket. This is an easy fix for a stupid jeep problem.

I got mine and installed them in my JL.
I am pretty sure it broke the side that had not been replaced.
As soon as I went to rotate the visor after putting the clip on I heard it snap and the visor then rotated very easily.
It seems to be holding, but now that one visor rotates very easy compared to the other side and how it was before.

I am now unsure if I will install them in the JT until one actually breaks.

FWIW mine also needed to be ground for clearance, though the side that "broke" has plenty of clearance now. :(
