Welcome to Colorado!Hello! I have been the proud owner of a Mojave for almost a year. I am ready to rip the bumper off! Lol.
1. For those of you that have swapped out the bumper, for a steel one, have you noticed a change at all in the way it drives with the added weight? I am looking at some type of short steel bumper.
2. For those that live in the snow, would I be better served to spend the extra money for an aluminum one instead? I hear conflicting reports about the "rust factor", being an issue.
Any tips, or insight is greatly appreciated!!! We just moved to Colorado and new to this snow stuff. Lol
Thanks in advance!
Regarding your questions
1) No substantial change in driving characteristics with the factory steel bumper (plus winch)
2) I debated about steel vs aluminum (more for weight than for corrosion) but landed on the side of steel due to concerns about performance in an impact (hopefully never needed)
If you are in the Denver area, let me know if you want to see how it's holding up so far
