The airbag deploys from below that panel. IMO if your in a scenario where the airbags deploy the additional plastic of that cover wont make a difference.

realistically the trays that we all have in our passenger side grab handles pose more of a danger since it sits directly under the airbag and allows us to pile crap in it that would sit directly in the airbag’s path.

False! The air bag deploys from the center of that panel! It has been discussed multiple time in this forum and pictures have been provided. You have now just added shrapnel to the passenger’s face when the airbag deploys! It should really be illegal for companies to sell these items!

Installed the jcr half roof rack. It's nice but these prices are getting out of hand. They had a 10% off sale but even with the discount it was $719 + tax, imo thats insane. But what isnt overpriced these days????? Also got my 8gl offroad solar shower and ovs shower tent in anticipation for the summer camping and beach fishing. The tank is made of aluminum and seems well built. I'm glad its light because taking it on and off wont be a pain. Warmer weather is coming!!!!!!

Im planning to do something with the tank, i will post another pic when im finished. Roof rack is decent but im having trouble finding the correct t bolts to slide in to mount some L brackets to mount something. Anyone know where i can get the correct t bolts for 80/20 10 series tracks????

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Everyone’s rigs are looking sharp. I built a DIY rack to hold my doors and added some Amazon special Made in China doors. I’m actually pretty impressed with the doors. For $600 they are solid and come with mirrors. My only complaint is the installation instructions could be a little better and more accurate, but otherwise, these doors are good to go. I wish I had gotten them sooner.

I have these and they are great! The mirrors that they come with are huge but they work. I may take them off and use another option this year.

my only complaint is my passenger side rear door sits on the metal and left a rub mark. No matter how I adjusted it the dang thing just kept rubbing.

This is WHAT I like about this forum- you get schooled!
The best option could be a vinyl wrap, if my local shop will do it per liability reasons? Or test my vinyl wrapping skill and do it myself. Vinyl material is thin enough, imo, to not obstruct function of airbag. Can you actually pop those oem trim panels off to vinyl or spay wrap?

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll keep an eye out for this. One thing that’s weird with my Gladiator is the rear driver’s side door, ever so slightly sticks out below the door handle. It’s not quite flush with the body, but it opens and closes fine so I’ve never messed with it.

All the half doors fit perfectly with no adjustments needed, except the rear driver’s side door. It opens and closes pretty good after adjusting it, but it’s not perfect. I think the bottom hinge in the door jam needs adjusting, but I’m scared to mess with it and make it worse. No way will I take it to the dealer to make worse.

Completed the Mojave hood swap and installed the ARB Classic Deluxe bumper with Smittybilt Gen 3 10k winch. I am digging the light on the winch.

Now I just need to fill the square holes in the bumper, it is weird ARB left those unfinished....

The thought has also crossed my mind to make CAI plumbing from the hood scoop to factory airbox Too many projects.
