I like the Bronco visually when equipped well. I am not a fan on turbo’d gas motors though, so that would probably keep me out of one.

Having said that, the Bronco is pretty ugly in stock form, then again, so is the JT haha

Good news for you, is that you don't have to buy a Bronco. Good news for us, is that we didn't buy our Bronco to solicit compliments from strangers, and think it looks awesome. We don't give a shit what others think. I'm sure there are plenty of people that have seen your JT, and thought it was hideous as well. Again, Opinions...
lol, I’m sorry you’re salty about having an ugly ride. ??

I think Ford did a huge disservice to the Bronco brand by having the Bronco Sport. I've met so many people who think the Bronco Sport is THE Bronco, and are disappointed in it.

It isn't helped by the fact that the Sport came out significantly earlier, so that is the "Bronco" people first saw on the road.

The Bronco 2.3 is rated at 300hp/325lb-ft and the Jeep Pentastar is rated 285hp/260lb-ft.
The Bronco 2.3 is connected to a 10 speed auto. The Pentastar is an 8 speed auto.
Depending on configuration, they weigh about the same.

That is all.
2.3 is 270/310

They are both turds because y'all are probably driving gassers. Can't believe they still use the 2.3L. I remember my buddies Courier back in the 80s had the same size motor. Of course we had an SVO turbo on it and a header and no cat running into a high flow muffler. Go diesel! Not a turd or a slug.
Dude, have you driven a late model turbo vehicle? Completely different than throwing turbo parts at a 70s 4 cyl motor. Like, not even close. Laughably different.

That being said, ecodiesel all the way. Love my JTRD. 440 torques ftw.

I couldn't agree more. Such a terrible, terrible decision. I betcha there's a lawsuit coming, so many Bronco Sport owners duped into thinking they were buying "the new Bronco!".

Had an eco-boom.

Towing, well within its limits, in the mountains, on a hot day, Mr. Computer decided to kill the turbo. Lots of fun towing with the CC size of the engine ....... only.

Not pretty, I was afraid I was doing damage to the engine.

Being a died in BLUE OVAL WOOL FORD guy, for better than a score and a decade ...........

I looked closely at the Bronco, and was disappointed.

I bought a Gladiator.

Much happier.

Hope you didn't buy the Ecodiesel....

Yeah my old work vehicle was an Ecoboost Ford Transit 250. It railed! My buddy had a naturally aspirated one same van. It was a dog! But that 2.3 in the courier was a beast. Twin side drafts. Would roast most things on the road back then.

Completely different. The 2.3 in the courier had what, 90hp? In the Bronco it has 300.

Haven't driven the 2.3 but I drove the 2.7 and it is amazing. You can really feel the power difference between it and the 3.6 and the 10spd does it justice. On 35's with the 4.7 gears was spot on. You could easily run 37's with a issue. The one we built was with the 2.7.

We took one out to do a photo shoot for some of our new Bronco products last week and I personally got to let it crawl over some rocks and such. As a Jeep owner, I was not impressed with it's stock offroad abilities, but it rides nice and drives nice overall. The large hood reminds me of driving a big Lincoln towncar from the 60's. :)

Yeah back then maybe 90+ but when we were done with it. Pushing 350+ to the wheels. Besides I bet it weighed a whole lot less too
