Hi gang,
First of all - love this community. Such great info, advice, tips, etc.
My wife and I are Jeep fans. Well, we aren't the ones that have owned Wranglers or Gladiators (yet).
We both drove WK Grand Cherokees, and still do.... well I do. I have an 08 with 137k on the clock that has been perfect for me. He is starting to show his age with some rust spots and worn paint/clear coat - but he has been the best vehicle I've driven in my young 33 years.
My wife also had a WK that wasn't as reliable - so we traded it in and bough the Grand Cherokee L which has been awesome for us.
But now, I'm getting the itch to upgrade to something newer and hopefully more fun/safe/more tech.
I've been eying up the Sport S and have been in early communications with Gupton Motors.

They are quoting me:
I'm with her, but I'm also a pretty sissy financially savvy/frugal person. We both work hard, save a lot for retirement, and could put about $12-15k down for a decent 60 month payment for around ~555/month - but I just don't like this current market. The lack of inventory, the inflation, the already rising interest rates, the 2-year and 10-year Treasury yields inverted for the first time since 2019, sending a warning that a recession could be on the horizon.....
My head says just wait it out, but my heart says go for it...
I'm not looking for you to tell me what to do, I just needed to vent....
Thanks,

I'm in a situation where this is a WANT verses a NEED. My wife is sort of in my ear telling me that I should upgrade to something newer and hopefully reliable. She knows my WK has been fine, but is thinking that the prices on these current Gladiators is a solid price point, and it could get worse.Forum Pricing (5% below Factory Wholesale Price [Invoice]): $44,011
