Got my summer wheel and tire setup installed last night and man am I in love with this setup!

Method 703 (17x8.5. +25)
BFG KO2 C-rated 37x12.5r17

Zero lift, zero rub, nearly zero poke. Side pics taken with phone placed level on the body panels. Tires measure 35.25” loaded on the Jeep at 33psi.

I do plan on running a Rock Krawler 1.5” spacer all around to regain the wheel gap and travel, but wanted to mount this setup first to provide real feedback. Rides like a charm and at full lock side to side and in reverse without any rubbing.

sort of Unrelated, but how is the visibility with those visors? I want some but feel it would distort the already mediocre vision from the side windows.

.. I've got a crush on the Coker sta super lugs which are about a 36'x9" but 16" wheel, ...
Old school bias ply. Nice! Those are legit pizza cutters. I wonder why they limit rim width to 6.5" max.

yes sir, for images google 'jeep j-12 concept' or sta super lugs but check out some pics here...

https://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/quick-drive-jeep-j-12-concept-ar176506.html

can you imagine how awesome it would be to see a 36-37" x 9" modern radial for 17"/18" factory wheels? I'll keep drooling about these bias ply gems, there are guys who like em on heavy diesels with snow blades, they air em down to 25-28 psi and push hip deep snow

This is the Kenda 35x10.5 on AEV +25 rims. In case you were curious where you have both but not together.

Really like the look and keeping the scrub radius down, but what about the flex? Any rubbing at full flex?

I’ll be completely honest here. I think they’re noisy as fuck. But I’m going to take them off tonight half way home to see if that’s what the wind noise is from. I’m pretty sure they’re the culprit. Visually they’re in my way, I’m 6’8 so everything is hahaha.

I have the Kenda’s in 35x10.5 and absolutely love them. Mine measured a little larger than yours at a hair over 34” @ 37psi.

Curious, the Kenda’s have done great as a summer and winter tire and I’ve had them aired down and on many trails in Colorado. That being said did you consider going with the Kenda’s in the 37x12.5x17? I’m eyeing those for my AEV Saltas (also a positive offset ?) pizza cutters over poke any day!!!
Really didn’t want a 12.5 and after learning more about the KO2 load C they were everything I was looking for. But I did think about this as you mentioned.

Got the same truck in Sting Gray, got the 703’s with zero offset and KO2’s in a 35x12.5x17. Will be going with the “37’” next time. Any rubbing off-road?

Looks great! Does the 37" KO2 in C load really only weigh 63 lbs?

New tall skinny tire!
Relatively new, but they've been out for a year or so. Too bad I can't find any in stock and ETA (IIRC) isn't until June/July timeframe.

I really wish these wheels didn't require splined lugs. Sigh. Maybe I need to get over that.

nice find on that 255 85r17, put an 18 at the end it would be 35.1", yes please, would love to see that in the snowflake rated at's, at3w's, exo grappler, duratrac, ko2 etc. even better would be some 255 95r17 at 36.1" tall, some true 'highboy' class modern tire sizes, or maybe 255 90r18 for same height...the next trend imo is the highboy look, tall skinnies, staying in fenders....would be highly functional for a lot of us northern truck guys too ;)

Kenda 35x10.5x 17 are roughly the same size, possibly a little taller.
