what to buy WITH AEV mojave lift?

I wanted some advice/opinions on what else I should purchase when I get the AEV 2" Mojave spacer lift. I am open to anything if someone thinks there is a better way or brand to get the couple inches and keep the suspension intact that comes with the Mojave, I am all ears. My main goal is just to get a little more clearance when I am off on the trail. I was hoping to get a 2 or 2.5 spacer lift and some 35s so I won't have to regear or go crazy on an actual lift. Is there anything you recommend I buy with the spacer lift? On the forums I seen a few people recommend longer LCAs from Mopar, some say geometry correction brackets, some say get both. And a steering stabilizer. When its all done i understand i will need to recenter the steering? Is there anything else i will need to do? This is the first time I will be lifting anything so you can talk to me like I'm five years old I don't mind. Any advice is appreciated or links to videos. So far the youtube videos i seen either just cover the kit install itself or people doing actual serious lifts $$$$$.

Dude exactly lol! I am going back through the thread he sent but now i know why i tuned out at like page four last time i read it. People are talking about carrier bearing brackets, new rear track bars... Im going to just keep reading but it would be sweet if someone with real experience would say this is exactly what you should buy and need to buy vs. this is what you can add if you want. If it's like any other hobby i ever looked into people love to spend money and will go apeshit buying stuff that might not be needed. Even if the stuff isnt necessary but highly recommended i would buy it.

The lift will work fine as designed. If you want to fine tune it, adjustable trac bars, longer LCA’s (or brackets, not both) and a heavier duty steering stabilizer will make it better.

I’m a fan of Steersmarts components. I had them on my JK with no issues.

I am also looking at the adjustable track bars, but wont lie i will have to go on youtube university to become familiar with adjusting them. I know they help keep the axle centered but thats it.

The list you gave me seems pretty reasonable. I just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something that was going to screw up the drive shaft angle or cause damage to the mojave by leaving it out.

Readylift makes a Mojave 4 1/2 lift kit made specifically for the Mojave and you still keep the Mojave shocks

what i'm still trying to figure out is: does anyone make a non-adjustable set of panhard rods specifically for the AEV 2" lift?

Obviously adjustable panhard rods are the backup choice, but anything that's adjustable is just one more thing to get loose. If i can avoid that, i'd like to.

Don't make it too difficult. The AEV is great, pretty much everything you need and the kit is made for the Mojave. The AEV stuff is high quality and fits well. I added adjustable front control arms and adjustable front and rear track bars but not necessary. I really like the stance with the 35" tire.

Is that the 1 1/2 and 3/4 leveling kit or the AEV 2 that the OP is looking for?

It is the 2" kit. Not sure there is any need to level the Mojave, sits pretty good as is.

I think i seen this kit on 4wheel parts but i havent heard anyone say if its quality yet. Im thinking 4 inches is just too much lift for me because then you get into tires that require a regear and im not sure i want to go down that road right now. Or am i wrong 35s on a 4 inch lift what do you guys think? Possibly a bigger lift with the BFG Ko2 37s which are a 36.6 might not need a regear?

I agree. From some reading and watching i did this morning the adjustable track arms are a better addition than a steering stabilizer. Not sure but will probably buy one anyways because the mojave does already have a little drift to it as is.

Adjustable front track bar and geometry correction brackets, which are meant to be used with stock length lower control arms....so you don’t need longer or adj LCAs.

I would not go with the Mopar longer LCAs. I have the AEV kit on my sport s with the longer Mopar arms. They are cheap..yes, but IMO not that great, could be a hair longer.. I am going back to the stock lcas and adding geo brackets. The brackets also help address control arm angle, not just length, which helps with overall ride quality. I ran a set on my old Jk and it helped. I should have got them to begin with and skipped the Mopar arms.
