Cooler doesnt fit with tonneau cover

I have a Yeti 45 that pretty much lives in the bed of my truck, under a Bestop soft tonneau, and just clears. Is yours a hard tonneau?

Bad ass Roam 65 qt is only 16" high. I don't really think there is a "standard" height for coolers. My cheap-o Coleman fits fine, until I get the Roam (will get this summer).

If the bed was deeper it would be the bottom going lower making the departure angle even worse.

Right I came from igloo to yeti or similar because I was tired of the poor build quality, latches not working, the hinges breaking on the caps and the ice not lasting more than a few hours. I might just use the soft yeti i have but I liked the larger room in the 65 cooler. They couldnt of made the bed 18 inches high ?? lol

My RTIC 65 fits under my Rugged Ridge Armis Roll up no problem with a couple inches to spare. Might want to look into some alternative coolers.

Had a Yeti 65 that was too tall...switched to the Grizzly 40, which works well for me, and I think is actually a better product (and made in the USA). Plus I got the Jeep editionI

I have a 3-piece hard tonneau cover and attach it to the bed about a foot back from the front edge with carriage bolts. I made spacers from 2x4's which the bolts go through, and which attach to the rails with aluminum plates near the heart-419 logos.

I ended up buying another cooler that fit (barely) with the tonneau completely closed. Just measure it to be sure before you buy.....too bad about your Yeti coolers, I had a nice cooler as well and it was a couple of inches too tall.
