In a perfect world it would have that longer bed but would also have a slightly longer cab to provide some interior cargo space like a GMC S15 xtended cab pickup I had back in the early 1990’s. I think it was a 1988 or 1989 model.

If that would have been the gladiator I would have but being 6ft or so and definitely being out of leg room in my Comanche. I'm good with current JT.
But it does look great.

Two door versions of other trucks, like F-150s and Silverados, are pretty abysmal in sales. Even extended cab variants are garbage outside fleet vehicle sales. The reason is simple: most who have ever owned a 2-door truck will never go back after owning a 4-door. Heck, even the Wrangler is almost 90% 4-doors these days.

Looks cool, but after a while I think almost everyone would want to go back to the 4-door.

In the 70-80s they were great.
