Just Wow! I would take it back to the dealer.

Just asking, are you sure it's not residual fluid from a crummy cleanup job? Mine appeared to be leaking for quite a while after repair. I blasted the area with parts cleaner and wiped it down several times. Fluid eventually stopped seeping out.
I cleaned the wheel and adjacent parts when I got home to address this potential issue.

Update: parts arrived on Tuesday, replaced the right rear assembly on Wednesday, leaking on Saturday (today). Is the conventional wisdom to take it back to the dealer and say "wanna give it another shot" or is there something I can do about this on my own? Also, it appears that it is leaking worse than before- a lot more oil is accumulating on the inside of my wheel.

Thanks all,
Update: Took it back to the folks who made the first replacement- this time they weren't interested in re-ordering the same parts and trying again. I told them I suspected the housing may be damaged during manufacturing or during the first repair.

They had me pull it in the shop, they plugged it in to their OBD reader, made a several pages long report and said they would "create a case with Mopar". They will call me tomorrow and let me know what they say we should do.

I am concerned the housing may actually be damaged for whatever reason or outside of spec not sealing the end of the tube up. Is there a repair procedure for that- or to just swap the whole assembly?

Thanks again,

Several people here have had replacement axles leak again - and their dealer finally swapped the whole assembly.

Just had my axle leak verified at the dealership. Yep , it's leaking. Jeep put a hold on all repairs according to Service guy. Hand written note on invoice. He says there is no TSB .
Till June 1st .
Anybody else been told this?

Some have been told there's a hold on ordering parts. The time frames given have already passed, I think one said there was a TSB but I find nothing.

I traded mine in for a Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon because of this issue. Still miss my Gladiator.

Good on you for not holding onto a poorly constructed vehicle out of fandom. Jeep needs to get their shit together on 2023 models and up. For the cost of these trucks, the issues people are encountering on brand new vehicles is unacceptable. Did you Lemon the truck?

Sent man to moon in 1969.

Can't hold lube in axle in 2022.

Baffling.
And as I've said before - it didn't leak in 2020 model year!!
So -simply undo the revision changes!
That's what we did at Compressor Controls. Every tiny little change had to be tracked, documented, tested, approved. Make a change, no matter how small, there was a paper trail and the numbers changed. They know the date any change went into effect, Jeep must do this for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is they are an ISO company and sell in the EU. Inspectors come on a regular basis and query employees on change control and revision tracking.
Find the first instance of leaks being reported, find the part number and revision, track it back, and undo the changes.
I know it's up to Dana, but still, good grief, how hard can it be?
Companies have been successfully sealing thin small molecule gases under pressure for years, we can seal refrigerant from leaking out of a rotating shaft with that refrigerant under pressure and we can't seal hypoid lube that's not under pressure?

This is interesting- they've asked me to come back in and take more photos and add to my 'Mopar report'. If a TSB is due in June, seems like I'll (we'll) be waiting a while for a repair.

Yeah, that is the part that gets me, the early 2020 model year vehicle do not report this nowhere near the same rate as 2021 and up model owners have.

Also, not every 2021 and up owner will have it and I speculate the lions share never will. That tells me it has to either be a manufacturing issue of either tolerance stacking and/or assembly error.

Lastly, the manufacturing employees at DANA facilities in the USA have been going through quite a bit the last decade even though they are mostly Unionized. They have gone to a two-tier pay structure that leaves the legacy employees to age out with decent wages and brings in replacement new hires at a pittance of previous wages and grinds them in almost sweat shop conditions to produce. DANA corporate has constantly been threating to move most operations to Mexico like AAM did a few years back and holds that over employees heads.
