Finally got my 13” Rydonair antenna from our incredibly delayed secret Santa which we have now named Summer Santa. Installed this morning and reception actually seems better and it looks 900x better. Channels seem to pickup just a tad quicker.

Simple mods today:
- Replaced stock antenna w/ a flexible, 15" AntennaMastsRuss one.
- Replaced stock halogen low/high beams* w/ Beamtech LEDs. Picked those up after watching this vid.

*A note on any headlight bulb replacement: DO NOT overtighten the bolts holding the light housing. The housing is PLASTIC, and the bolts are held by a thin strip of LocTite. I learned this the hard way after overtightening a bolt—and cracking one of the holes in the housing.

Now I have to go down a Google rabbit hole of researching Michigan

“Were there ever big mountains in Michigan?”

“What’s the geological makeup of the Michigan/Great Lakes region?”

“What does Michigan mean?”

Got to test out my inflation setup yesterday.
When I first got it a long time ago I did the YouTube tweaks to my Smittybilt 2781 to swap out bigger hoses, high flow standard fittings, and I use Staun deflators. Pretty easy and worked well.
I hated the battery clamps and the locking tire inflation fitting I had was finicky.
Swapped that out yesterday to the Jaco airlock L2, which stayed on perfectly.
The Anderson plugs I added made hooking up smoother and gave me a little extra reach, since I don’t have a super long coiled line anymore.

Was it worth it? I can’t remember but I think stock it inflates my stock Falken from 18 to ~37psi in like 2:30.
After swapping out the hose and fittings it’s about 1:45. I just set a timer then shut it off.
So a little faster but not like it’s blowing them up in 30s.?

I definitely like the Staun deflators, it’s very nice to not babysit those while my kids run away in the woods.

Spent the weekend putting 750 miles on it... the AEW exhaust initially has a slight drone between 2-3k rpm seems to go away after a few hundred miles.... after that, it's throaty, deep, sounds great.... it's a 6cyl, so it's not going to have that super deep rumbling but it still sounds fantastic... When cruzing, little to no "drone", it's quiet, not as quiet as stock, but much quieter then I expected.... I think it's a fantastic exhaust for $800.00: Below are the specifics...
AWE High Tuck Cat Back Exhaust Trail Edition 3" T304L Jeep Gladiator 3.6L 2020-2021

Nice looking. Tell us about the exhaust. Most exhaust mods go very bad and end with horrible drone or a cobbled together exhaust system trying to minimize the drone while making the JT sound like a cam’d BBC. If someone can figure out the JT to make something that actually has a deep throaty note with no annoying drone at highway RPMs, I’ll be glad to give them my money.
