So, I am late to the party putting on the soft top on my wife's wrangler. My set up sucks, and it was 93 with high humidity. I get the hard top off and hoisted up into the ceiling. I put the frame on the jeep and then attach the soft top. I slide the top up, flip the top forward and here is what I find:
The mice left me a nice gift. I had this top hung on the wall inside the vinyl bag it came in and the little critters crawled up in there and had fun.
I searched the forum and could not find anything. (Full disclosure, this is probably due to user error.)
Does anyone have any suggestions to repair the top. It is the Twill Top. Currently I have Black Gorilla Tape on the hole, with the tape on the inside and outside so the sticky side of the tape is adhering to each other. It rained here pretty good and the gorilla tape kept the inside of the Jeep dry as a bone. Chalk up one more win for Duct Tape (Gorilla Tape).
Thanks in advance. Oh, and to answer your question why am I posting my wrangler soft top issue on the gladiator forum. No offense to the people on the wrangler side of things, but I have received better information on the gladiator side of things. So, when I have a problem that is common between the two, I always address my questions to this side of the forum.
