Nice. I was looking at some others but I really like this design.
Thanks!
It works very well. Third oil change using it. With the lift I can fit an empty 5 quart jug under, so don’t even use my oil pan anymore. The first time I just grabbed an empty from the parts store. Now I always keep one empty for next time. Clean transport to recycle after.

That's what caught my eye. I hate the drain pan and the spatter. Did you get the short nipple version?

Don’t remember, but I took the part number from my actual Amazon order, so the link I posted is the one I have. No clearance issues. I definitely would not use the 90 degree version for this oil pan. I think it would stick out more.

If it stops snowing, yes on Memorial Day, I’ll get a picture for you so you can see how it looks installed in the pan.

Fumoto, valvomax, others. Definitely worth it.
I have the short nipple 106S and the hose accessory has a plastic barb that is easy to snap on and off the nipple and doesn’t leak, so I don’t think the long nipple version gets you anything.

Easy to do with engine skid on as well, which would not be that easy/clean with normal drain plug.

Thx. Now I don’t need to take pictures. :)

Added Front and Rear Artes trusses along with some very heavy duty Teraflex diff covers.

Nice. Whose LCA/shock mount skids are those?

What did I do to my Gladiator today? A whole lot more than I intended to (and not in a good way).

Finally got around to looking at my Badlands Apex winch. Installed it a while ago on the Jeep, tested it, tension spooled the rope, and then went about my life. First time I tried to use it, I could hear the solenoid clicking, but no movement in the drum. Instead of trying to work on it on the Jeep, I just removed it for the time being (seeing that the rope was all the way spooled out, didn't want to try to get it all back in by hand).

So, after the winch sat around on my workbench for a few months, I finally got around to looking for the problem. Found the loose connection, and as I was tightening down the last bolt on the motor, the post sheared off. Post wasn't long enough to get the wire connected, and I really didn't feel like tearing apart the motor to see about replacing it.

Went and got the lower tier badlands 12k winch. Fits better in the bumper, and at about $250, I won't mind if it dies on me after a couple of pulls. Don't do any overly serious trails, and I try to avoid water/mud as much as possible, so my winch is mainly used to help other people who are stranded and to pull stumps on my property. So I'm hoping that this one will be enough for that.
