I just picked up a set of Gladiator Rubicon FOX shocks with a whopping 300 miles on them. I also bought a new FOX 2.0 IPS steering stabilizer as well. Ours is a High Altitude Diesel. I'll be interesting to see how it feels after swapping everything out probably this weekend.
Hope your luck with those shocks is better than mine. IMO, it was a step backwards for me. They aren't tuned well at all for the max tow springs, and I think the ride was better before the fox shocks. IMO, there's nothing special about them other than the appearance, they look great.
I wonder how the stock rubicon fox shocks will handle a diesel truck... very different springs, a lot more weight up front (about 300 pounds)
I'm going to try to save some money to get some decent shocks next time, may leave the stock overland shocks on the new one until I can afford some good shocks.

Yeah, hope those are off of a diesel. I can’t imagine the front shocks at least performing properly if off of a gas truck.

I just swapped out my Willys springs/shocks for Rubicons this morning. I added a teraflex 1.5" and daystar .75" too. I like the ride more than the Willys stock suspension. It's firmer and feels more like a truck now. All said and done I gained 2.5" up front and 1.75" in the rear. I also swapped the stock LCA's for the MOPAR lift LCA's. I adjusted the steering link and from what I can tell the axle is only ever so slightly off center. I'm going to measure this afternoon but I'm guessing only about .25" or so, if that.

If you measure .25" difference, then it only moved over .125" Similar to how much mine moved with Rubicon springs and Daystar .75" spacers up front. Mine sits about 1" higher than a stock Overland from what I can tell. Hard to get measurements from stock Overlands LOL It's about like trying to find chicken teeth.

This is the Mojave springs on all four corners, with Rough Country 2.5" spacer kit up front, Gladiator Fox shocks all around, with Fox steering stabilizer. Right after installing the spacer kit:

I had a similar experience... They were fine and better all around up front but it was clear they weren't up to the stiffer springs in the rear.

I was thinking I couldn't be the only one who didn't see the Rubicon Fox shocks as an improvement, or being up to the task of very different springs.

With the diesels theres a campaign with even stiffer fox rubicon shocks as replacements for the regular rubicon shocks.

Diesels have a serious bottoming out issue due to a shim installed to limit uptravel. Then they spend most of their time clacking against the bump stop. The factory bandaid is stiffer shocks but the fix is much much taller suspension to get more up-travel. I recommend 3.5" minimum of lift.

I went with metal cloak and it solved all the issues while keeping a very smoothe ride.
