I really don't like the media bay door. So I figured this helps my OCD a little.

It would be even better if Jeep would just fix the issue with the USB port in the console so we can use that with CarPlay.

(Sort of) half doors installed last night. I added the door skins to my tube doors.

Before and after (Smittybilt tube door conversion). I need to get the rears. Too expensive now, though. Prices have gone way up since I bought the front tube doors last year.

Soooo... I chewed up the T40 head on my door hinge trying to remove it to install steps to access my roof rack. Tried for hours doing all the tricks like hammering in a larger T50 bit, cutting oil, extractor kit, etc. The drill bit snapped and the drill skipped across the hinge, then the T50 moved and I hit the door with a hammer.

Ended up taking it to the local machine shop and the fella humbled me hard as he pops it out in 30 seconds flat still in the parking lot, didn't even move it into the garage. He tried to make me feel better by saying I "loosened it" for him. ?

Just saw this in another thread. I’m going to stay away from hinges. I would have it happen to all four doors with my luck! ?

Saw a member post this gas cap holder thing he found on etsy a week ago. Ordered one up for myself. That OEM hook for the gas cap cord is practically useless. This seems like a great fix. It'll give me a much needed laugh at the pump too!

Finally got the bread and butter installed. Mojave got 35x12.5 general X3’s with Mopar Beadlocks and a rebel off road rack. Rubicon got a 2.5” metal cloak game changer lift with 37x13.5 toyos and raceline beadlocks. Now I wait until all the backordered parts get here….

Upgraded to 4.88 gears on Friday, no more hunting between 6-8th on my way to work anymore!

Also got my APEX disconnects unexpectedly! Went and threw them on Saturday.

Since I'm banned from any trails until I break in my gears, just did a quick check on a berm behind my house, really dig not having to get on the ground anymore to disconnect, and not having to whack them with a rubber mallet to reconnect. What good are quick disconnects that you hate having to use?

Next major mod will probably be 37's, although it looks like I might have some clearance issues.
