So is this actually something that I’m going to need prior to my flight in order to be able to use my phone for my “Road Trippin” playlist on my 750 mile drive home in my new Gladiator?
Seems with today’s technology an iPhone 11 Pro would be able to link to the “infotainment” system.
Jeezus, my 2011 Sahara had a CD player and a hard drive that I could download music to. Would give anything to have those abilities on a 2022 vehicle.
You don’t need it. It’s only if plugging into the USB port bothers you. I use a cable for Apple car play in mine every day. It’s flawless.

I wanted to get your opinion(s) on this install. I realize, it only matters what I like and it's my JT... and the "do you"... but I'm still curious of what you guys/gals think.

Thank you for your constructive feedback.

I have two Prius killers.... one is more of a utilitarian step and a tie off point. Being tubular, I think it matches the RH 4x4 Rails well. It is very lightweight but seems sturdy, I believe it is rated for 300lbs. *The problem with it is, it interferes with my reverse backup sensors.... making it very difficult to determine from an actual obstacle that could cause damage. On the plus side, it sticks out a little further and is wider to help provide protection from a rearward angled collision.

The other is considered a "Tactical" ball hitch. It has knurling in several locations, blacked out with a nickle colored ball. It weights a ton... probably 5 times that of the other one, or more.(weight is not an issue with me). It's adjustable, and able to be "tucked" out of the way as pictured. It also has a tie off point built in. Although this one does not stick out as far and is not as wide, it is way more robust and drops down much further, which helps for a lifted vehicle from a direct rearward collision.

I don't like either. I appreciate the hitch is already tucked up as high as it is. I don't want my truck any longer or lower in the rear.

My front end is about 3/4" lower and I haven't added my 12k winch and plate yet.. and due to the Mopar lift, I can't use a leveling kit to raise it... so rear weight is my friend.. lol
but I can appreciate not wanting anything on the rear.... Although I have seen several instances of the Gladiator getting rear-ended and the ones with attachments seem to fair better. Either one would definitely be removed if off-roading.

These seem to be giving a much smoother and softer ride than the Falkens did. At least after I dialed them down from 43 to 35. I guess the shop wanted to make sure they were seated.
My local shop told me to dial my 37's down to 30PSI They said I would love it and it would drive like a dream. I thought that was pretty low so I tried 35PSI and I thought it was a little too squishy and added quite a bit of edge grab and noise. Bumped them back to 37PSI and I'm pretty happy there, I'm not a tire expert and I've never used the chalk method, but other than comfort the chalk method, I'm told it would let us know the correct PSI. I wonder how much of the tread actually is supposed to contact the pavement 3/4 of the center or all the way out to the very edges ?

Unless I'm missing something, you can certainly add a spacer to the front if you desire to.

If you're going to chose one or the other and you don't need the hitch for towing, the step at least has additional functionality. ?

::edit:: although to be fair I can't think of a time I'd be stepping into the truck over the tailgate and not just dropping the tailgate.

Spent $20 for a black pleather center console cover to protect it from my dogs nails and sweat/dirt rolling off my arm.

Fit is tight and I’m sure the wrinkles will work themselves out with some heat.

Installed the Quadratec 12V power adapter allowing me to finally hardwire my Midland MXT275. Then added a CMM Off-road ball to the grab bar to which I attached a 67 Designs nano arm and Mag Mount. Combined with a 1 ft Lightning cable, this cleans up the mess of wires and not having to have that USB port flipped open. Oh, and gives my girlfriend a place to hold and charge her phone.

I didn’t know if I was being quoted for not posting a link or to make fun of me “because it’s a jeep and it’s suppose to be dirty!” Lol.

He's just jealous that you have something to put parts on. Our Jeeps have been stuck in Utah for a couple weeks now and no sign of delivery to final destination yet. I am another one with a pile of boxes in the garage waiting for a Gladiator to be in my driveway.
