A marketing ploy to give the illusion of assistance.
Only people in these forums even are aware of JeepCares so how can it be marketing?
Marketing is when you tell people that something exists before you buy, and they'll take care of you.
Hundreds of thousands of Jeep owners are not in this or the Wrangler forum so have never heard of JeepCares.
JeepCares is not mentioned in any book, any fliers, any advertising, there's no contact information, no number, no email address.
Pretty sad marketing! LOL - they don't even tell Jeep buyers.
You have to join this or the Wrangler forum to even know they exist.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm 60 days in the shop in the past three months. So far they've replaced all rockers, lifters, and both cams. Still has a misfire, and there is no estimate on when I'll get it back. Here's hoping your experience goes better op.

I fully expect my Gladiators to last at least 250k miles or ill be pissed.
I'm sure the aluminum body will. I hope your JT is a diesel- when I start approaching 100K clicks on the odometer, I'm out before the sixth digit rolls over. This motor ain't the 2.5L or the 4.0L.....

I have had Toyotas and while they are very reliable they can be boring.

I agree with what someone posted earlier and sums up how I basically feel about it. Jeep is like the hot chick you know is a bit of trouble but so hot/fun it's worth the trouble.

This is my first sad post and just a complaining one to get attention in general. I've been pro-jeep for 6 months and 10k miles, and now I'm feeling the regret I've read about many times on these forums.

So I am screwed for my upcoming vacation plans. I feel like @ygrignon (except my travel plans are less epic) as I'm now having his exact same problem, I needed a truck and accidentally got a jeep. My jeep has been in the shop since Monday for a ticking noise coming from the engine. Now I wont be able to take my camper for my 4th of July and likely at this rate the following trip on the 12th of July. @JeepCares

Full story my engine started ticking at about 2000 miles in, and when I brought it in 5000 miles for the first oil change I told the service manager to have it checked out with the oil change and first service. Was told it they checked a new jeep and that this is normal on these engines. Now I'm at 10k miles and I know its not a "normal" sound so I scheduled a test drive of a new gladiator and turns out new jeeps don't have a loud ticking noise coming from the engine.

I don't mind that the jeep has a problem, but the fact that there is not a similar vehicle as a loaner/rental and the service is soooo slow due to the backlog of other broken cars, means that I can't take my trash to the dump, and I can't tow my camper to my scheduled vacation, and it is really leaving me in a bind.

This is my obligatory post where I regret getting a jeep and should have kept my tacoma, as at least toyota can fix a truck in under a week. :( This will impact my raving about how awesome max tow jeeps are in general.

Side note the fricken jeep wave customer hotline 844-JEEP-WAVE has too many digits to be an US phone number and verizon wont complete that call... Shows that the jeep waver hot line here must be coming from Western New Jersey @John in the Woods for the survey! Though if @jeepwave is hiring a customer hotline phone service answer-er I'm 100% ready for the job! ;)
True, but not all Toyotas are reliable either, just most

Been driving a 2009 Taco for 12 years...work truck. It's an unreliable piece of shit. Trans replaced, entire sealed system of AC, steering wheel column broke and wheel landed in my lap whole driving, oil leaks everywhere, rear end replaced....on an kn.

I wouldnt ruin my plans for a ticking noise if it's been doing it for 8,000 miles already. You've git it documented already as "normal". Take truck enjoy your weekend and upcoming trip. Then take it back in again after. If it gets worse, it's under warranty then take it back. Ranting is just stirring the pot, but it wont fix it.

Any 30 consecutive days in the shop is automatic lemon.

woof, I guess I just got spoiled by my 2013 taco which had only tires, brakes and oil changes till I hit 160k miles. I swapped it cause I wanted a crazy sexy girlfriend of a truck, and now I have one :)
