Let him know that he don't have to stay away since he's not put a lot of miles on it. He's got a lot of experience with a JT that many people wouldn't get in 15 years of being a owner. He just responded to me on facebook. He said he had a slow start to this year and only has 119,000 miles on the Jeep.
I passed on the information. I'm sure he appreciates the encouragement. He posted today that he's temporally coming off the road to work at home. Hopefully he'll be back as a pilot Jeep soon!Let him know that he don't have to stay away since he's not put a lot of miles on it. On 80% of the highway I would be in 7-8 gearWhat is your top gear usage during your escort on flat hywy?
Much thanks for treating all of us who started out w/ doubts about our JT.
I just replaced brake pads at 118,000 miles and probably had about another 40,000 life left on them but all highway certainly let's them last longerI'm hoping that I can get at least 50-60k miles from my brakes. It's a mix of city and highway and plenty of off-roading with muddy conditions. It looks like it will be $100 for a set of pads and $100/rotor average when it comes time to replace them.
I replaced them all every 50,000 miles as I did want one to burn out while workingHow many halogen bulbs have you gone through?
I don't use the defrostVery nice write up! I do have a question: can you clarify what you've done to protect the windshield from the temperature changes due to the defroster? I'm not sure how or what you did. Thanks!
Yeah like blade????I had several questions while reading through it that magically got answered once I saw the pics.
Note LiFePO4 do not catch fire like Lion cells either. The only down side is they have to be above freezing to CHARGE.Great info I have already saved there site to my home screen and will be adding that to it thank you
