Looking for 2” lift for my 22 Rubicon. What’s the pluses and minuses of the spacer type?

The other plus is you keep the springs at the rate created for the weight of the truck.Plusses:
Minuses
- Cheap
That's all I can think of in the spare 30 seconds I had before work! You'll get more responses, I'm sure of it ?
- Factory shocks may not like the extra travel
- Sway bar links may be too short
EDIT: I assume you just wanted spacers for looks and not serious wheeling? If you're going to wheel, there are some other minuses there, too.
100% agreed... that's why I didn't list that as a plus or minus: same applies for any lift!As with ANY lift, spring, spacer or whatever, you change certain geometry which can have an impact - your control arms are now not level so brackets to make them parallel to the ground again will help mitigate that little issue.
People say "spacer lifts ride harsher because the control arm angle" - well, SAME WITH TALLER SPRINGS! Duh. With either you change those angles so you can't say it's only with spacers.
First off: I'll see you on the field in 2 weeks (figuratively) ?@Sparty @OHJeeper
First off, Go Blue, secondly, everybody's "do it right" is different. If this person wants their Gladiator to look awesome with 35s in the parking lot at work, then a spacer lift is doing it right. Getting the MOPAR lift is doing it right to you, but there are plenty of people who would say if you're not getting full skids / control arms / draglinks / tie rods, you still can't go SERIOUS wheeling, so why bother?
"Right" is relative to what your goals are.
There are exactly two teams in the country with both a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense: Michigan and Ohio State. What say we both win out until The Game...?First off: I'll see you on the field in 2 weeks (figuratively) ?
I would love to see both teams go undefeated into THE game. I wish they didn't change the schedule with the bye week. I really enjoyed watching it the weekend before Thanksgiving. There are exactly two teams in the country with both a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense: Michigan and Ohio State.
