Happy New Year group!

Quick but valuable question... I was looking but did not find anything recent in that area...

I am ready for AEV 2" spacer lift and since down the road will do put some overlanding gear + tent on my bed can you share opinion for upgrade of coils/springs?

for Gladiator Rubicon 2024.

Thank you!!!

Lots of opinions on this one.
Spacers are not the greatest option for lifts. Your money is better spent on spring lift. Yes its more expensive but its doing it the right way.

a spacer lift isn't that great unless you're just trying to finalize a build that was lifted and your added equipment is making the back or front sit wrong. And the max spacer to use is 1 inch. Contact the lift companies, tell them the plans you have (figure out how much weight you will add (winch, bed rack, tent, storage systems)) Lift kits are created based on stock vehicle weights but if you contact the companies, the great ones will be able to tweak the parts list and still sell at the kit price.

Spacers are for looks for the most part. Springs are for when weight has been increased so the vehicle will handle better. Depends on the weight increase you plan as to if OE springs are up to the increase payload
